Those shiitake blocks are only a month old? They look like they're already almost ready for a slap and the fridge. I like to put mine in cold shock mode at like 60 or so percent browning

Reishi turns all kinds of shades of brown and produces lots of metabolites as it ages
Agreed.
First harvest in the new FC!

Hugo those are freaking awesome clusters! Are you using multispore or a clone? Also would like to know how you're doing fresh air exchange. I have a duct fan at one end of my room and I don't think it's quite cutting it. I need more turbulence.

Mesh drawer pod full of Elm oyster on wheat straw. Cold lime pasteurized. This is aloha's Elm 'A'. These will be fruited in the shower lol.

Haha, thanks! No, I didn't
Here's my recipe:
I am growing oysters (Pleurotus ostreatus), my substrate is (for a 3kg bag): 1965ml Water 792g fuel pellets 213g alfalfa pellets 30g quicklime
Preparation: I mix the water with the lime and stir. I mix the fuel pellets with the alfalfa in the bag. I put the water in the bag and I inoculate the next day.
So, I use around 90g of spawn per bag and then I seal the bag. I mix it very well (around 2min per bag). I use to perforate the bag a piece of xps board with 100 pins and I stitch them twice on the sides. I put in the incubation room (should be around 20 to 23ยบ the temp inside) Its completely dark inside.
The bags are a 50x35 (cm) 6 microns thickness.
Good luck!
