I want in too. Not a wild clone. From a syringe I got off my favorite seller. This is my dinner.

Are yellows as easy to grow as blues? I want yellows now.

They are very hardy, and can produce very large clusters. One of the easiest oyster's to grow, loves light.

They attract insects, they do eat tiny bugs, but I'm not sure that is the reason for it. Deep yellow is noticed in high O2 and sunlight, which attract's them.
I'm yet to get a maggot filled mushroom, even outdoors. The trumpet cap collects water, usually rain.

They eat nematodes aka roundworms yeasts and bacteria. It's been my experience that all oysters get buggy. They are pretty fragrant. I've encountered yellows in the store. Which gives an an idea. I'm going to go see if my local market has any yellows tomorrow so I don't have to buy a culture.

A lot of people don't know that, I see you have good experience. The store one will be good practice, or for spores.
Good luck.

Thanks. If we had yellow oyster commonly in the wild here I'd collect some. I have some nice oysters pleurotus ostreatus I collected recently from down the street from a prolific strain I'm going to culture.
I learned about the nematodes but had no idea that they also ate yeasts and bacteria until I did some research into if it was ok to use oyster jars with yeats. I found a few obscure papers on it and decided to go ahead. A culture I had was infected. I was like fuck it. Been using the culture ever since and it's been growing healthy blues. I ran out though. I wish I was at an advanced enough stage to isolate the type of yeast it was growing with. Maybe I'll try introducing bread yeast to the grain sometime and see if it works the same. I just need to have enough for food before I go messing around too much.

Those look oysters look nice! why dont you poke holes at either end instead of just one?

Honestly man with how fucked up reishi myc is when it's healthy I'd say that jar doesn't even really look that bad
Reishi turns all kinds of shades of brown and produces lots of metabolites as it ages
