Like this, right now:

I had the same thing outside and I pretty much create a fog of mist all around & inside 'chamber, then pop it back 'over' my block. When it was outside, I had a box w/perlite in bottom. Tote over top of box.
Inside tote dries out in a few hours and I 'fog' it again- with really fine but high output sprayer, about 2-3 oz (30-45mL) every mist. Sometimes more. The towel its on dries out. Air just has to be flowing through for that to happen IME.
Edit - fan is off when I'm sleeping, so the thing doesn't dry out completely....

I edited my PREvious post because maybe it was not perfectly clear.
First flush was outside, now it's inside. 'Cuz it freezing outside.
Outside before:

INSIDE NOW- with similar conditions except sun and temp:

The fan blowing at your block is just drying it out. Circulating the same (higher co2) air around the room. Is there a window in there? You need to introduce fresh air to the environment.

Our house is about (edit): 15,000 cubic feet...
CO2 is HIGH? What is 'high' in your view? EDIT: ~400ppm is average outside/inside in a healthy enviro.
When I worked in a calibration lab, our average inside was ~400 ppm. That's in a room, inside a building, with doors shut- that say: "Authorized Personnel Only" on 'em.
If It's higher than 500 ppm in the house right now, I'll eat my hat.
EDIT: The point I WAS trying to make is- 'high CO2' is NOT >=~700ppm CO2. I agree 'fresh' air is needed for Blue Oyster fruiting, but I did NOT figure that ~500ppm would be 'high CO2'. That's it. I have or can get the same info as anyone else, except years of experience. That takes time.

I'm interested to see the results if you can find your meter. If I'm wrong, please correct me. We're all just here to learn and grow mushrooms.
My information/advice is based on my experience growing oysters indoors. (and countless hours of reading). I've never been able to grow decently developed fruits without venting outside. (or at least opening a window)
The literature says oysters require 4-8 Fresh Air Exchanges per hour. That's a complete replacement of the air in the grow environment with fresh air every 7-15 minutes.
From Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms, Paul Stamets -" In fact, the cap-to-stem ratio is an accurate measurement of atmospheric carbon dioxide levels in the growing room and is used as a visual cue by Oyster cultivators for increasing air exchange. "

I'll find my Indoor Air Quality meter that reads CO2 (and whatever toxic sensor on the wand) and prove you're just plain wrong.... No, forget it....
Global co2 avg is never much below 380. It goes up and down about 10 ppm depending on thr season in the northern hemisphere. The deciduous trees act as a carbon sink.

It should be level of O2 that should be read, that is what mycelium use to decay materials not CO2. If you imagine the air as a substrate, humans need 19.5-23.5% O2 in the air, to breathe.
Things like humidity, CO2, other gasses, will change this ratio-percentage.

Generally the pink oysters require more air then you can throw at them unless outside. I grow them commercially indoors in greenhouse and I have a 12" fan for every 6x6x7 greenhouse running 5 minutes on 5 minutes off and sometimes when I have my greenhouses packed full of straw bags that is not enough fresh air and I have to bring in fresh air from outside because they go through everything in the whole room. Also they require lots of humidity almost 100% I noticed that I get small white mushrooms or aborts when my humidity levels drop also if they don't get enough light then they will be small and white I use 4 foot long fluorescent lights 6500k but my lower tier usually has signs of light deprevation. I also use a Djamor culture not the salmoneo straminius if that makes a difference.

Good to know! Do Lions Mane require more or less or the same as oysters?

Lions mane do require lots of humidity while fruiting, as for temps it depends on the species of oyster lio 's mane and pink oysters definately don't grow together as pink oysters are tropical and require 80-95 ish temperature where L.M. require it to be a bit cooler as it is a fall fruiting species at least naturally here in oregon. Youcould get away with a different species of oyster along side L.M such as eryngii or ostreatus. Hope that answer your question.
