My first Reishi grow turned out pretty successful. They acquired the yellow dustiness from lack of FAE as I fruited most of them in bags. I wound up with around 1.5 pounds of dried fruits. Going to make tinctures very soon.

Yeah, there's a link in my signature about that grow. I'm going to update it within the week with additional pictures and information! I'll try and update my signature link when the thread gets updated. Reishi was very easy!

300 plus pounds of native, 100 percent, freshly shredded, punk oak woodchips.

Some will be for various woodloving Psilocybe species, the rest will be for lions mane and reishi.

Some of the White chanterelles me and my buddy Colonel found. Filled a five gallon bucket in no time.

And the biggest one!

So I have a few questions, if anyone has a bit of insight they'd like to share.
I've been growing pink oyster for about a year and. Every time I try to grow them from a straw laundry basket, the fruits come out tiny and white. But when I grow them out the top or sides of a bag, they come out healthy an vivid pink.
What I seem to have found is that when they're given too much fruiting area they come out small and white.
If anyone has anything they'd like to add on what can improve their color or whether they think my assessment is correct I'd appreciate the input.
Sorry no pics

Just a guess, but there might be more O2 and light on the top, CO2 is heavier than air and sinks.

I'm growing my very first pink's right now, and when I cut the top off a block, they pinned everywhere. Grew small fruit and dried out rapidly.
Harvested them all, then covered top of block except one small edge, so they would consolidate there. It seems to be working better. The CO2 thing- IDK, but do not beleive that is so.
