Got some Wine Caps/Stropharia rugosoannulata coming up in a bed I made several months ago.
I grew these all the way from spores. They were SUPER slow to grow on agar, grain spawn and sawdust spawn. After two months or so the sawdust spawn was only about 30% colonized and wasn't responding to shaking anymore. I thought they had died. Threw it out in the garden, covered with straw and amazingly they took off.
I kept adding woodchips and straw over the months, a thin layer at a time and finally today some fruits between the Oreganum . Quite proud.

I have the same problems with wine caps . Need to keep nutrients low in agar. It will grow faster.

Those are some nice pics with really cool colors, but those oysters need a lot more fresh air.

Long stipes and small caps means too much CO2. Increase your FAE. Oysters need constant fresh air circulation. Beautiful photos man.

Doing Reishi for the first time in bags. I normally do them in monos. I left this bag sealed up for a while and cut it open to introduce more air. I think the antler formation has been better since the bag was cut. If you look closely, you can see the reishi formed more of a ball than an antler. Since the bag was cut, the antler formation is much better.

I also cut an x in the side of the bag to see if I can get a conk formation.

Oh hell yeah. Go reishi antlers go! This only took a week from grain. This is my super aggressive wild clone of ganoderma sessile. I thought it was fast but literally from grain to this in just under 13 days!

I know it's not the same but I have pics of the cluster it came from. I was very new to agar and was more concerned about learning not to contaminate things. It came from the top sessile in the first pic. Also here are a few extra pics of the clusters. I'll get a pic when I transfer again.
