hamloaf said: Hi morepies. Correct. They are basically bioluminescent/glow in the dark oyster mushrooms. They aren't edible at all like pan stipticus, though, for the ghost fungus is toxic. http://sporeworks.com/Omphalotus-nidiformis-Ghost-Fungus-Culture-Syringe.html https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omphalotus_nidiformis https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/19081653#19081653
I think that's so super cool!
Knowing me with the luck I've been having lately I'd do something dumb like mix it up with my oysters.

Those looks great. Ive been wanting to find chicken of the woods for awhile now :P. Heres some phoenix oysters I did on cased sawdust. I got similar yields but I still like getting one large cluster growing out of a 1" hole on an uncased block.

Delicious looking oysters. I used to not appreciate oysters enough because they are easy to grow, but more and more I like them best for eating. Good work.

Damn you. All I have is this shitty cold pizza. Can't wait till Monday when they refinish the floors. Pest control is coming in and douche lord has moved out of the living room. It feels so much better living here now. Gonna fry up all the shrooms.

My first time making LC's!

I did a Bratslavian Oyster, Lion's Mane, TurkeyTail, King Oyster, and Shiitake 3782 - all using PastyWhyte's EzLC Tek using sterilized grain water. Super simple to do. A few of them grew out more than was prescribed by the Tek so I hope that's ok. 2 of them because I was on vacation and the TurkeyTail because I fuckin blinked. Seriously it went from 25% colonization to 100% colonization in about 2 days. This culture is super aggressive.
