Oklahoma yellow oyster strikes again!
There's still a couple pounds worth on the tree. Too much, and too far from ladder

Apparently the tree is fifty years old, and part of it broke off and died, leaving a big dead scar. These are in the armpit of the scar.
Love the color and smell!

Nice work, brother!  Did you capitalize off of your findings, and take some clones?  I did.

Ghost fungus tearing through some coniferous woodchip mix supplemented with spent coffee grounds, wheat straw, a little bit of bran, and gypsum inoculated 3 days ago just prior being shook.

These are all 5 quart bags of sterilized woodchips that were inocualted kind of high.  Each bags was inocualted with 1.25-1.5 quarts of fully colonized grains spawn.

Those were supplemented fairly heavily.iirc a little organic fertilizer, approx 30% soybean hulls and a quart of spawn per bag, oak sawdust . Sometimes mushrooms like to grow for me. Other times not so much.

Hi morepies.  Correct.  They are basically bioluminescent/glow in the dark oyster mushrooms.  They aren't edible at all like pan stipticus, though, for the ghost fungus is toxic.
