Nice work.

LOL, I was just about to correct you, then I kept looking at all the smiley faces, figuring you MUST be joking. Then I saw the button, on top of the mushroom
Nice one, you totally got me. That's what I get for only coming on the shroomery at night when I've been drinking

99% chance it will digest it, slowly, and not only receive N but it will also re-assemble the chitin.

Had these red cracked cap boletes last night. I know a lot of folks in bolete country may turn their noses up to these but i think they taste awesome, just have to cook them on higher heat to brown that softer texture out. They were a hit at dinner last night!!!

Didn't grow these obviously, but nice chanterelle harvest! This was ~3 hours worth of picking by the wife & I this past year. Had to lay them out on a twin size bed overnight. Not sure we will ever see a year like that again.

Northern NM. It was awesome - we stopped because we just couldn't process that many! The place was absolutely covered in them.

Try adding plant food to wood, and let me know what happens. The plant food is what the roots absorb. Add a touch of starch to overcome the requirements for a present food source.

Thanks! They are actually cotton seed hulls and bran. I normally fruit them through the holes of the bag but had to strip them because they were pinning invitro.

Forrester said: Hate to be the one to tell ya, but that left pic is severely "leggy". VERY common, especially trying to grow blues indoors. They're the worst for some reason. Now that they're at that point, worry less about humidity and more about airflow. What I used to do in winter was put those clusters RIGHT by the open door of the greenhouse, and then mist them as much as I could. They can recover pretty well from that, but if left in the same conditions you will get pretty small caps and lots of stem.
Update: still stretched but caps are opening more
Update: I've dunked the buckets, removed the straw, and stacked them. Second flush is coming in:
