That one is labeled as black Reishi - does look similar to TurkeyTail for sure but seems blacker than the ones I have going in the GH.

Highly ideal if you want quick colonization and a great fruiting yield-potential.
Relevant sources pertaining to edible mushrooom fruitification for both the nutriotional and biological efficiency that you are comparing please.

1. Pleurotus geesteranus, strain PG1, has the highest yield and biological efficiency, superior to Pleurotus ostreatus, the most commercially cultivated edible strain in Bangladesh.
2. Pleurotus strains vary in chemical composition and nutritional value, and Pleurotus geesteranus, strain PG1, presents higher contents of protein, ash, and Cu, as well as reduced contents of lipid and carbohydrate when compared to Pleurotus ostreatus.

Here is the nutritional value of Pleurotus eryngii (change to 100g), and Pleurotus Pulmonarius (change to 100g). Pulmonarius produces more proteins and less of everything else, with less nutrients utilized.
Protein, fats, carbohydrates, and other materials are composed of C-H-O. There is a limited value of carbon and nutrients in a substrate.

Jesus, what a waste. Sometimes farming sucks, you got either to much or nothing to sell at all. Mais c' est mieux que l' usine, as my old french neighbor says. It's better than factory work and you don't have a boss!!!!

Why not donate them to a foodbank and be able to possibly take that money off your taxes due to donations?

I thought food banks only took non perishables? If they'll take your mushrooms tho, I'd donate them just to feed people. Fuck the tax deduction, that's just a bonus.

In the USA I know corporations can donate produce and stuff. Maybe its not to a foodbank though maybe its like a food donating thingy thing or something like a homeless shelter or something.

There are some "food pantries" or co ops around the country that deal with fresh produce though rarer than food banks.

Either way, I'd be giving them away to random people on the streets rather then toss those beauties in the trash.

One ground, spent cubensis substrate pile.

Turned into 18, 2 gallon spawn bags of bulk substrate.

LCs were drawn into syringes. '

 Hopefully, inoculation party begins tomorrow.
