Small, but quite adorable. Looks like i've got some spores too from the first few i picked a couple days ago. I'll definitely thin out for the second flush to get larger fruits.
Just my opinion, but I think they could have gone a bit longer before harvesting. I'm sure they will taste excellent though. I love Kings!

They were delicious for breakfast! There are still some I left, figured id pick some and then they'd concentrate their nutrients on the rest there.

Workin late tonight! I always am the most motivated in the wee hours. Dropping 12 species/strains to my new grain mix following MorePies build. Simmered Milo, did a 5 hour hot soak on oats- really like the way they turned out. Let's see if I have a better success rate this go around.

Also slanting most of what I have, and transferring from PastyPlates to Petris. Happy shroomin' mates!

the one in the middle looks like 2 long arms with hands!! once i've got my gourmet technique down I think I'll move on to try reishi. I've found a couple in the wild out here, would be neat to try and clone and culture one of these

Coir = cellulose, and it looks good
Are you going to case that?

Yeah I figured the amount of cellulose in the coir would be efficient with the nutes from grain and water from verm. I was thinking about it but didn't know what to case with. I have peat moss/verm/straw/coir/sawdust that I'd be able to use just didn't know what would be best for Eryngii. Any advice? Thanks brother.

My friends used just straight Vermiculite as a casing with good success. No firsthand knowledge though.

I agree with TravelAgency, I too have seen verm used as casing in a tub for oyster's.
Go with no lid and good humidity, you probably will need to mist. Keep it damp, and fruits should pop-up from below.

This was my first wild oyster find, I put some stem butt on cardboard to see what happens. I don't have any agar so I cant clone anything right now.
