Star Wars was, cinematically, a big part of my childhood. I loved that original trilogy. I still have it on VHS. I must have seen those movies a thousand times. It's a shame I have no idea what else she has done, but she will be missed none the same.
First Spock, now Leia.

Wewll, she's an icon...so it sucks she won't be in the next Star Wars.
And she was a human. It's always sad when people die or suffer. But then again, everybody suffers and dies. So, I have no idea.

Dewd dont focus on her suffering and dying but her life and all the stuff she brought to the world. She was a strong women that battled thru many struggles. I might catch some flak for this but i thought she still looked pretty good as she got older.

2008 - Obama elected for the first time. Everybody dies.
2016 - Trump beats Clinton. Everybody dies.
Coincidence?
Probably. Everybody dies.

I just read that Carrie Fisher's mom, actress Debbie Reynolds, died today, one day after her daughter. I loved her in 'Singing in the Rain'. My fiancée has a neat story about meeting Reynolds when she was a kid.
