Talking about long after the effects wear off, basically im having blunt affect, and I don't want to be popping stims all day to feel something. What are your experiences on long term use of shrooms, meaning after they are out of your body but the effect on the brain remains, I have read so many mixed results... please enlighten. Thanks.

The first day after a shroom trip for mw feels like all the good parts of adderall, with none of the negatives.
No headache, no feeling like I'll never fall asleep. Just pure happiness and interest in everything in front of me.

Do you find it that happens everytime you do shrooms the day after, also how long have you been using em for and do you find this desired "side effect" im looking for gets less over time after you require more each trip? FYI: what you describe sounds like a hangover of a good night out drinking to me, suspect increased glutamate + dopamine fireing going on. Also to my rookie knowledge, shrooms work through 5ht2a mainly, do people on here use things such as inositol and ashwagandha to "upregulate" 5ht2a?

Tolerance develops when your enzymes run low. The side effects of shrooms are numbed innate responses. Over time you may learn not to react as strongly to your innate senses such as the fight or flight response.
Shrooms are sympathomimetic meaning them stimulate the sympathetic nervous system.
Shrooms may intensify the experience of an emotion in the moment which leads to a more vivid memory of an experience. Since emotions are feelings and feelings are sensations and shrooms are sympathomimetic it makes sense to me that shrooms actually numb your emotions rather than intensify them.
I dunno though, there are 23 emotions between love and hate so you have a lot to experience when tripping.

I find myself to be very calm in the days after a trip with them. Not necessarily happy but just a good relief from anxious stimulus.
