Is this primordial pinning or knots
    #23958453 - 12/26/16 02:13 PM (7 years, 1 month ago)

Does this look right are these primordial pinning? Jars have been going for about 20 something days.

This is primorida, soon to be pins.

How long has it been since they completed colonizing?
If it's been a few days at least, I would fruit these now.

Ignore the pins, treat cake normal. Pins will survive a dunk just fine.

Looks like these are happy and ready to produce some nice fruits.

I read somewhere that you should wait for as many of those primordial pans as possible before you start to fruit because the amount of pens will dictate how many shrooms you get

So I have some jars they didn't call Ines as fast as the others can I use those at all to inoculate new BRF jars or is that too much risk for to contamination I think doing it in the small sterile area and cutting it up and placing the cut up pieces in the new Jars to inoculate

"superspawning"(When you use colonized subsrate as an inoculate) typically fails.

Your perlite turned red, and I think one of those little rocks are a little higher than the rest.

Looks like he's using expanded clay pellets instead of perlite. Good luck dude

Is there an advantage with the clay pellets over perlite?

Also on a side note, I have 10 jars currently colonizing as well. The jars that had growth in all 4 inoculation points are 100% colonized and at about day 2 of consolidation. Is it normal practice to go ahead and birth the ones that are fully colonized (after consolidation time of course), and then birth the other cakes at a later time? Or would it be better to wait until they're all ready to be birthed together?

I would birth when ready and I waited until I seen pins in jar before I birthed them. I did wait on jars if they were not ready I had two that were not ready yet

So you'll just go ahead and birth, dunk and roll, and then fruit the other ones once they're complete and they consolidate? That's what I figured is best to do, just wanted to ask the experts

I don't see how there would be an advantage one way or another.

What would you say would be within reason? A couple of the cakes are one day 2 of consolidation, and a couple of them still have a couple days, maybe even a week until they'll be 100% colonized. Would you still try and birth them all together? Or is that too far apart?
