How do your pets react to your tripping?

I always trip at home and I've noticed that when I'm tripping, my cats in particular always behave differently around me.
If I'm up and walking around or say walking up stairs from the basement, they'll come up to me and do this "interested retreat" around me. What I mean by this is they will come up to me and then kind of back peddle away while staring at me. It's as if they are highly interested, yet a little scared of me all at the same time.
I've always just kind of assumed that they can see "the God me" peaking through and just aren't sure what to think.

I've always had this thought.... Usually it's fallowed by "nah bro you're just tripping balls".
Nah but it seems my cats are more cuddly when I'm frying. My two cats rarely sit together, but on a LSD trip a few months ago they both curled right up into my lap for a few hours while I peaked on my couch.
I think they can definitely tell something is up, maybe they sense a different energy radiating from ourselves... Pretty interesting.

I've had all sorts of different pets and animals go absolutely nuts around me when I'm tripping. I have kittens and they started actin inebriated and hyper when I was on acid. On mushrooms my other older cats sat side by side next to me and let out weird howling meows and some shit happened that I can hardly explain.

My dog stays against the side of my leg when I'm tripping. She's normally a lover anyway, so she usually lays close by, but it's like literally up against me when I eat shrooms.

I would assume cats and dogs are highly receptive to the energy of your heart aura. They freak out because you're not in your normal energetic body, I would assume it's hard for them to recognize you, or be thrown off by your increased and changing energy field, but can always be the opposite as well and they gain attraction and affection which is my case.

It's all merely because animals are very aware of and in-tune with people's and other animals body language and mannerisms, simple as that....I suppose one could call that "energy" or "vibe" ....Most animals don't communicate with auditory language, they pull in/process tons of information solely off of body language/mannerisms (I don't even talk to my dog with words, all our communication is done through body language and short/simple sounds)
So when you're tripping, and you're behavioral patterns/mannerisms are even slightly different than the norm you're communicating to your animals waaay differently than usual and they pick up on this and respond accordingly....usually acting a bit askew themselves which can range from being a bit more skittish/anxious to being all sorts of cuddly/comforting to the owner, to just being a bit weird/different than usual just like their owner is acting.
And I believe this is where and why that ol' ridiculous myth was born, the one that goes something along the lines of "Don't pet/touch animals/pets while tripping or they'll start tripping too"..."....or don't touch animals when tripping because the sweat from your hands will transfer the drugs into their system"

I was looking after my cousins cat once and remember I was of my head of mushies and I actually followed him into my neighbors garden and around my neighborhood and had a huge conversation with him about mice and stuff, he didn't seem to mind me at all, it was quite weird lol

My girlfriend and I rescued a cat from the wild and it never liked to be held. My girlfriend tripped on LSA and she jumped on the bed and curled up with my girlfriend. It was wierd. She said she understood the cat and it understood her. Really wierd?-

My cat will just sit there and look at me or my friends and with an almost "you guys are fucked" expression hahaha. Tho I remember I was having a bad trip once and was laying in bed very uncomfortable and my cat came up and sat on my chest and was purring really loud and kneeding on me and it instantly calmed me down. I feel he knew something was up and started comforting me.

SWIM Hippie flipped on Mescaline and some peppermint infused morning glory seeds one time and while SWIM was peaking (deep in the ether somewhere) at a friends house SWIMS friends cat decided that SWIM needed some acupressure massage.
SWIMs own kitten was around a lot when SWIM used to do mescaline frequently and occasionally did strange things when the trip would get particularly intense (like try to break a lamp).
I have heard of multiple people being chased by wild wolves/coyotes on psychedelics.
I have always just assumed that animals can see auras and can tell when someone is trippin.

For me, a lot of the times, my cats want to be around me while I'm tripping. One in particular will go out of her way to "dart" down to the basement and hang out in the trip room.
They'll pure on my lap and when I'm peaking they REALLY take an interest in me. The last time, I was laying on the couch trying to "let go" and become one with the light but my kitty kept "head butting" and scent marking my face, eventually had to kick her out.
But if I'm up and walking around, typically after I've had the "Godhead" experience, my cats do this back peddle where they walk backwards while staring at me with this look of fascination and "respectful fear" all rolled into one.
Well, fear isn't the right word, but it reminds me of the way I feel whenever "God shows up" on my trips. Initially there is always a fear of seeing myself.

Once I was tripping on acid with my little doggy and her behaviour was deffinately changed, she became much more responsive and I could see a blue aura around her and what a pure beautiful creature she was:)

My dog usually doesn't notice. But the cat...its almost like she knows I'm tranquil, so we have this connected ESP.
