Does working out improve anger or make it worse?

When I was a really aggressive and angry person, I worked out like 5-6 days a week. I got huge. A few people even thought I was on roids. even when I was doing 3 day splits for about 45 minutes each(whilst having anger issues), I got way bigger than when I was doing 4 day a week programs and working out 2 hours (when I did not have anger issues). The anger issues were a stronger drug/aid than any supplements I have taken
Obviosuly I am a pretty laid back guy these days. So theres that
I have a lot of stress and anger currently and I am wondering if working out more will make it grow or decrease? What is your guys' experience? Does working out increase or decrease your frustration/anger in regular life?
I find opiates have been making me more angry of a person too. really counterintuitive

I don't see how doing something your body is built for could make you more angry. Being sedentary will probably make you feel worse

It doesnt seem to reduce anger for me, but it does improve my sense of general euphoria
Overworking would be stressful, so that would obviously be bad for your mood, Ive definitely experienced that

Idk. That sounds weird to me. Working out chills me out, and I've also taken testosterone a few times and it always put me in a better mood overall. Made me more assertive..but not angry. Better to have higher test than estrogen, that's the shit that makes you moody.

So? Read my post above..low testosterone is more responsible for a bad mood than higher testosterone.

Interesting question. When I was big I was definitely more prone to getting into fights. I think cardio may be a better stress reliever than weightlifting...

I don't work out, but I climb a lot and that certainly destresses me.

Working out is going to raise your testosterone levels, so it's possible that you'd get more aggressive. Just take out that added aggression on more lifting and repeat the cycle to get huge

I agree with this, working out makes me feel great, being sedentary makes me super depressed, so days where I have nothing on my agenda, I still find something to get out and do, and I do at least 100 pushups a day because just those 100 in the morning make me feel great, usually by 50 I start to feel the feel good chemicals being released by my brain, which brighten my mood.
I have never had an issue with anger though, so maybe I am not the best person to respond here.

So I worked out, and I am feeling less aggressive. Still aggressive. but less so. I am gonna keep this up 3 times a week. I need to address the underlying issue here which is therapy is needed and learning to just avoid negative people if needed
Since working out again I have felt more horny and more motivated. I should prolly use that to do things instead of just beat off haha. I am curious how my aggression will be effected in 1 weeks time or maybe 2 of heavy excercise

Working out kind of temporarily lowers feelings of aggression I find, but the more you work out the more aggressive I feel and then the more I gotta work out to not be a douche if that makes sense
