    #23956606 - 12/25/16 02:51 PM (7 years, 1 month ago)

Habitat:
Found in eastern North Carolina. Had rain on and off for the past couple weeks, with both cold and warm weather. These are growing in grass near forest, consisting of mainly loblolly pine trees. Important to note that dog feces can be found around where the mushrooms are growing.

Gills:
Gills are a medium brown and seem to be attached to the cap.

Stem:
2-3 inches long, maybe a 1/2 centimeter wide, light brown to brown, smooth texture, soild, thin, oozes when squeezed.

Cap:
Average 1/2 inch diameter, dark brown and light brown, smooth, spherical.

Spore print color:
Light brown color.

Bruising:
Does not bruise.

Other information:
Smells like mushrooms you would find in the grocery store.
