Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Green bean casserole is my favorite dish for a traditional Christmas meal. But for Noche Buena? Yuca. Pork and congri are damn good, but I love my yuca.

My mom's side of the family has run a very popular Italian bakery for generations and we normally make the drive to their house for a giant Christmas Party where they cook all the entrees along tables and tables of Charcuterie spreads, home made gingerbread houses, homemade cannolis and Italian pastries.
So good. Unfortunately my parents and I missed out this year due to some health complications of my dad's but it's okay. My mom made a wicked good lasagna for Christmas last year.
As far as drinks I'm not an eggnog person, but I do like hot apple cider with rum. I also recently tried hot mead and it was so delicious, definitely a new favorite - I wanna try and brew some myself when I have the space in a couple months.

I suggest you do it as soon as you can. You really don't need much space. Just a table/floor to siphon between containers and a spot in a corner to place your fermentation bucket/carboy. You can put a bottle rack along any wall in a house/apartment.
Mead is super easy to make and very rewarding once it's finished.

I live in a 400 square foot studio apartment at the moment, I have a drafting table/office space in my apartment but I need it for work/a place to store my papers - I'm moving into a 5 bedroom house in February with a basement though - so I think February is probably the best time to start haha.

Haha, that's soon enough! Won't be a long wait then. Lol, I guess it really would be pointless to start now since you need to age it anyways.

Yeah..trying to get the Uhaul movers to move a tub of fermenting mead out would be a pain lol.
Plus, my friends/roommates to be are totally down and are enthusiasts themselves, so it might be a fun 'group project'

That sounds awesome. I've been dying for some of those italian wedding cookies. That might not be what they're called though, They have 3 colors, they are dipped in chocolate, and they might even have amaretto in them. Those are the best cookies

Basically just mead. And chili. I don't eat meat so I've adopted a lonely Xmas tradition of having chili for dinner every year by myself. I love chili.

Whys that? My New Years resolution this year is to go an entire year without drinking any taxed alcohol. Which means I'll be brewing my own mead. Though in all honesty I don't really care for alcohols intoxication. I'd so so much rather some fire chronic. Wait are you gunna quit blazing too?!

Yah... I believe that's a very real possibility for me.
But to get back on topic, tacos.
Lily made supa dank tacos tonight, and I believe it should be made into a Christmas tradition nationwide, because tacos.
