I am envious. How much does it cost you per jump? How many jumps have you made?

Well up until this point it was a lot more expensive, the first 12 (maybe 13) it's 195$ a jump, the first three are tandem but you still have to demonstrate some maneuvers like spins and altitude awareness, the next 9 (or 10, on your first release dive when the instructor lets go of you if all goes well you get to skip the second release dive and move right on) are where you wear your own gear and an instructor jumps out just holding on to your leg and arm and you have to demonstrate more complex maneuvers. You can fail if you do really poorly though and repeat jumps so you might have to pay more depending on that.
After that you have to do your first high solo jump (by far the best jump I've ever done) and low solo (jumping out at 5000 feet rather than 13500 feet) which is 70 and 40, after them you gain self supervision status and can do solo fun jumps as much as you want but can't jump with people yet, those are only 25$ a jump, 32$ more per jump if you have to rent their equipment or 64$ to rent their equipment for the whole day, so basically even if you only pay to rent per jump if you do more then two jumps it counts as renting it for the whole day so even if you're renting after 2 jumps the rest of the jumps you do that day will only cost 25$ with no equipment fee.
Then you need to do 5 required coach jumps towards your license which is the training to get you ready to jump with other people, the video I posted was the fifth one or the A-license check dive as they call it, they cost about 120$ each. At the moment I only have 24 jumps, Even if you passed all the requirements with flying colors you need a minimum of 25 jumps for your license but might take you longer if you didn't meet all your requirements like 5 accuracy landings, packing class, hanging harness training...etc. All in all I probably spent around 3000 so far towards my license, I still have to rent but I'm hoping to get my own equipment soon so it'll permanently cost just 25 per jump. Already bought the container/harness and reserve canopy but I still need to buy a main canopy and an automatic activating device before I can jump with it. Can technically jump without the automatic activating device but I'd rather have the comfort of mind to know that it's there lol.

Thanks man! Me too, I didn't realize how much of a depression/slump I was in until I found this hobby and even though everyone who knows me IRL wishes I wouldn't do it there's nothing that can stop me lol
