Habitat:
Northeast USA, in woodchips. I'm pretty sure I have seen this species before


Stem:
unusually strong and flexible. sort of springy

Cap:
umboanate

Thanks for the suggestions. If they fruit again or if I find something that looks like them again, I will dig down a bit and also scope the gills. Unfortunately although I took spore prints I don't think I saved any fruitbodies..
