Greetings, brothers and sisters.
Was curious if someone could have a look at the image to let me know if contamination has occurred. Peace.

If you have the time, write in detail everything you did from start to finish, so that people can help you spot what you did wrong and what has room for improvement. Gonna hit the sack myself night

I'll give it another shot and see what the results were, I think there may have been too much moisture within the jar. Sleep well, brother. Pleasant dreams.

One thing I noticed. You've got a lot of open room in the top of the jar. That leaves room for the dry verm layer to shift around too much I think. I fill my jars to the line just under the threads with a verm/brf/water mix, 50%/25%/25% respectively (standard pf tek), then fill the jar the rest of the way with my dry verm layer. Remember you only need a drop of spore solution in each hole.

Thanks bud, Aye I just redid the jars and they are in the pressure cooker sterilising,
I filled the verm to the top this time and i see that during colonisation you put tin foil over the top which i didnt do. As I thought it needed gaseous exchange for growth in this phase. I'm learning :>
