Labels only stand to divide us. We are one thing made up of a multitude of options and possibilities.
When you polarize labels like what has happened with politics or racial attitudes it is only serving to split up that which is really whole.
Luckily the polarized narratives have become so offensive that people are beginning to see it as a tactic of divide and conquer from the ruling classes

Trump can outdo Elon Musk, surely.

needs more regulation.

That's in a perfect world, at this moment graduating more engineers does NOT create more engineering work.
Same with accountants, MBA's, chemists, ect.

I didn't realize that. Do you have evidence for this?

You don't think people obtained more skills and education to avoid the low-skilled labor market in the past 35 years?
"Do you have evidence for this?"
Playing dumb again?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Educational_attainment_in_the_United_States
There was a day and time when low-skilled workers made very good wages in the US, there was no point in spending large sums of money for higher education to get a decent paying job.

Asking for evidence of something isn't "playing dumb".
And you haven't proven there are "too many high skilled workers".

Thank you.
We cant just eliminate all the people who make problems for one's idealistic society. We have to work within the bounds of reality.

Nice point, qman. This really is the current socioeconomic crisis. The way it was dealt with in the past was to require more and more specialty degrees which acted like a reducing valve for the economy -- fewer job applicants keeps things relatively orderly. Now, everyone and his dog has a master's degree, and Ph.D.'s seem to be going for a dime a dozen these days. The system of using graduate degrees to maintain employment sanity is starting to fail. I read a while back that, in terms of academia itself, there are over 80 Ph.D.'s for every 1 teaching position in this country. Just goes to show it doesn't mean as much anymore.
And so we have an even worse crisis on our hands.
Indeed, but, short of mass sterilizations, we arent going to reduce the number of job applicants. Especially considering the jobs themselves are disappearing at an exponential rate.
We have GOT to accept that the jobless economy is coming, and create a system that provides a just society for all of us. Especially in modernized nations like our own.
To me, thats either a huge tax on businesses and the wealthy ro subsidize a UBI, or simply outright socialism.

Harvard professor says there are 'grave concerns' about Donald Trump's mental stability
Quote:
Three leading professors of psychiatry have written to Barack Obama to express their “grave concern” over Donald Trump’s mental stability.
In the letter addressed to the US president, doctors from Harvard Medical School and the University of California have urged him to order a “full medical and neuropsychiatric evaluation” before the President-elect takes office in January. ... “Nevertheless, his widely reported symptoms of mental instability — including grandiosity, impulsivity, hypersensitivity to slights or criticism, and an apparent inability to distinguish between fantasy and reality — lead us to question his fitness for the immense responsibilities of the office.”
you gotta (nervously) laugh!
