Could be. Remember that doubling the diameter of a circular hole is going to result in a four-fold increase in area.
If we consider, say, four 3mm diameter holes as a standard tek, that would result in around 28mm2 total hole area. This is roughly what I use.
If your single hole is, I dunno, I'd guess 20mm across, that's going to give you a hole area of 314mm2. So as you can see, that would be a much much larger hole area than what I would personally consider to be standard. Although I looked at the tek you linked for making that lid, and it says to use a 3/8" hole for GE, which would mean about a 70mm2 hole area. I don't have enough experience with varying hole sizes to say how much of an effect this has.

It depends on the filter material. I did some tests with 3 6mm holes for sclerotia producing species to increase the GE and see how it affects sclerotia production. I had no problems with dry grains. I use .22 PTFE filter stickers. + TranscendingLife knows his shit. He is/was a very good cultivator.

The filter is .3microns What I think I'm going to do is to put some tape over the filter. And see how that could work. A TC did it. So its face proof correct me if I'm wrong.

You can tape it (not completely of course). But i think there is no need to tape it. The grains look fine to me.

The patience comes back.. You'll reach a point in a few weeks where you don't know what to do with all the colonized jars

I would say ideal 70-75F. I successfully colonized grain/petri dishes at 60F. Fruiting at 60F is also possible.
