Dude spaghetti jars are perfect for LI. Narrow jars that are easy to hold with single piece lids with built in gasket.

I feel strangely aroused.

Whenever I'm in a store, I absolutely must look at anything and everything I could possibly use for cultivation. Even if it's that grocery store down the road I always go to that never has anything I could use, I'm always checking up on that 1 isle I know will be stocked with something useful one of these days...

Ooooh and them stories you have to come up with when buying literally anything in this hobby...
Canning jars for canning jam, check.
Storage containers for my mom, check.
Massive amounts of coir for hydroponic vegetables, check?
Box of syringes, silence...

just pc them again. doesn't even have to be long. 15 minutes will kill all the mold in a jar.

One time I went to Home Depot and bought 20 tubs, the lady asked me why I needed so many.

I told the bitch I was moveing and  I was allergic to cardboard! Hahaha

She wasn't sure to believe me and feel bad or if I was lieing to her.

Remember kids, clean out your jars immediately!

Also buying 200 lbs of rye grain at a local co-op the lady asked me why I needed so much. This was one of the first times going there.

I told her my girlfriend has a gay horse and it only eats fancy..

When I first decided to start growing and googling how to grow mushrooms, one of the articles talked about growing on cardboard. I spent $50 on spores and wasted every damn drop in glad containers full of cardboard. After a month went by and there was nothing, not even mold, growing in them, it only took 10 mins of research to find that spores don't generally germinate on cardboard. I felt so fucking stupid.

I did this for a year. Every time I found one of the three hell-spawn looking jars I would just hide it deeper.

Haha I do that too, even when I don't need grain.

Check out your local grocery store also. Around this time of year I can get 40# for $7.99, ($0.20/lb) which is the cheapest I've ever seen it.

If I have a tub that gets mold during 1st or 2nd flush, I remove it from my grow room and stick it in the corner of my basement and cold fruit it at about 50 degree f with no light. I've pulled 4-7 flushes from tamnd tubs this way before either mold took over or the tub just spent out

One time when i was first messing with making my own syringes I made my first one in open air in lysold bathroom.....it worked....I got lucky.

Related to this. I made 3 syringes myself from distilled water and spores in open air in my bedroom. Scraped the spores in a shot glass, poured water from the distilled water bottle. Sucked it in with the syringe. They all worked.

I know better now.

First time I bulk pasteurized, I didn't use a bag in my drum and the substrate trapped a fuck ton of heat under the sub. Went to give it a stir and it erupted like a 55 gallon volcano. Sub was used on over 100 blocks and had a complete failure. Scary.

This is a sin I want to commit - great idea.

I bet the cold temps slow down most contaminants too...
