UPDATE-First Flush-White Fluffy Christmas-first spongi block and mono. Pins!

Ok I'm on mono number two. This one is looking a lot better than the first one.
My last mono got what looked like wet bubble butt disease
It has been 10 days since I made this. I decided to put it into fruiting on about day 3 or 4 after hearing that fruiting right away is actually a thing people do. Some opinions are it is faster.
I think it looks pretty good so far. And I may even have knots? Maybe some pins for Christmas?
Damn I'm so excited! Hope it goes well. I have been at this hard for 3 months and have had massive failures. Unfortunately for me that is how I learn best.

And no, it is not a SGFC mono tub. The tub was going to be a SGFC so I drew the dots but never drilled
Can anyone tell me if they see knots? I'm still not sure how to identify

Don't think it is as black and white as right vs wrong. But I have heard mixed opinions
I will admit the more common practice seems to be waiting until full colonization but I have heard from seasoned vets that they fruit right away.

Fruiting conditions at spawning is fine. A lot of people do it both ways. I think I see knots but hard to say from these pics. Could be bacterial, I only say that because its not fully colonized. Just my 2 cents, could be wrong.

Ok maybe this pic better illustrates what I assume to be knots.

Also sub looks to be about 99% colonized. On the spots that look bare, if I were to just dust off the top you can see the colonization. My be 2 millimeters below the surface. It's right there

Quit messing with it. Some of my best tubs I have had I initiated fruiting conditions at spawning (minus the light until knots show up) and didn't even open the lid until harvest.
