I confess I have mistimed my myco work terribly. I need to prep grain, make jars, transfer some cultures and clean and make plates.
Aaaasnnnddd my work just announced mandatory weekends and 12s, being essential is so great. To add to that all the bosses besides production sups are now working from home unless needed. Lowest paid mist essential

I confess that I’ve been driving around for weeks looking for alcohol. So I may have gotten a bit misty eyed when a friend gave me 2 nearly full 32oz bottles yesterday lol

I confess that Im only jumping back into mushie cultivating because of Covid. I saw this shit coming, and it started hitting Italy I started buying shit. Everyone else was running around trying to hoard toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and I was getting all the tubs and jars lol. Forgot to get food even.
If Im gonna be locked in the house for 2 months, at least Ill have something to do....only I forgot that this hobby is 90% sitting around doing nothing, just watching mold grow

20 minutes taking transfers, a few days waiting for them to grow. Half an hour to noc up some jars, 2 or 3 weeks waiting for them to colonize.
I made another dozen jar lids, and made a few LCs yesterday just for something to do lol

I confess I am just about ready to pull my hair out, I don't have much to pull out lol, had a culture that looked pretty good to me and I got green mold, in every tub. So I did a hot pour yesterday and am now waiting for the mycelium to push up through the agar to see if I can mitigate this terrible inconvenience.
