Here is one of my “watched” tubs that I’ve been impatiently checking twice daily for two weeks. starting to come to a boil, but still going slow:

Psilo. So say 3-4 transfers and then if they look good you might take 4 sectors from each plate? Giving you say 16 plates?
Did I get that right?

That’s the playa right?
I just got a print recently but I’m running like 8 varieties for lagm and haven’t swiped yet.
Those clusters look pretty sweet, ms or clone?

@ pudawoke Yeah I’m saying first round of transfers I might sample 4 sectors... then I might find four more sectors off of each of the new plates or 16 total plates from the second transfer. I’m exaggerating a bit. I can be more selective but when I have a ton of plates around I get a little sloppy.
@ aka - yes that is an MS culture from the playa uvita print.

I confess my wife is giving me shit about my room and I can only fit 50% in the pic. The garage is another story.

Had to shut off the loud AF space heater off until she goes to sleep.

I confess I fucked up. I had an RW swab that I got from caps, but I had nothing but contams in my grain and I let my culture die. Would anybody be able to send me a rw print or swab, I have some cube prints to trade if anyone is interested. I did post in the markeplace but I figured I'd post here too. Thanks alot to everyone.
Thanks TedsDead for responding to me, greatly appreciated.

I confess that I found a suspect black spot on some insulation that came down when a tree went through my roof. I knew it was black mold but my husband bet money it wasnt, so i took a piece to the lab in the SAB and put it to agar. Then I viewed it under the microscope, of course I was right and black mold grew on the agar. So I also confess that I put my most aggressive blue oyster sub culture to it to see if it would out compete it for resources. Needless to say my husband had a lot of work that he was trying to avoid doing by replacing all the insulation.

Yeah idk what he was thinking... like did you really think I was going to let that ride. He really bet me that I couldn’t prove it. Like I know you don’t go in my lab buddy but you know damn well that I not only own a microscope but that I work with agar... silly silly man. Don’t test a mycologists gangsta!

I confess, I was pleasantly surprised by how the playa uvita / pura vida tub turned out.

they were oddly shaped things... very long / tall with small caps:

Thanks again for the print Nichrome!
(I confess trading prints and giving away prints is one of my favorite Shroomery things).
