Saw a similar confession in one of the other threads and I couldn't agree more so thought I'd bring it here. I confess I couldn't care less about New Year's Eve, but am anxiously awaiting midnight tonight so I can put some spores to agar for this LAGM2019! For real beyond excited to do this. Thanks to CBK for putting this one together and to everyone for making such a great community for this to take place. Happy New Year and be safe everyone. Mush love and have fun guys

I confess that a generous member sent me several azure prints, some will be preserved in the spore library and the other one is going on agar, but they are supposedly hard as hell to fruit.

Glad its working for you but check out the mite link in my siggy. Thats why I Use filters and seals..

Yeah I read that when you posted it. Absolutely sucks. But by your own admission, your place was a neglected rat's nest.

Rats nest no. Neglected, yes but not alot dirtier than some people live... Some grimy dishes and a Bit more grain and coir in the dust and empty grain jars and totes than there should have been but far from a dump. I think the worm bin on the front porch full of spent sub is what really did it
regardless, those mites are super common on food and grain and putting a bag of fresh grain in your grow area could lead to an issue even in a spotless house. Thats reason enough for me.
If I had been using all unmodded jars my whole grow would have been toast. As it stands I just ran through all my questionable grain and As soon as one more tote finishes up Iβm doing another deep clean and I think I caught them in time.

I feel you, point made. Unmodified may not work for everyone in all environs. I've dealt with beatles, weevils, fruit flies and a couple different types of gnats. But none of those made it into my jars. When mites find me, I will surely do whatever I have to, but otherwise I like to keep it simple. Speaking of which, love me some FooMan method of grain prep. No soak, no drying, the shit.

You should clone a few of those and do some sectors, you will get a more even flush. Those fruits look really nice, so you have the environment down, now get your genetics and you can have beautiful canopies.

I confess I just finished my first and maybe only, roll of parafilm with ~20 plates left to wrap. I didn't transfer anything to them and they're sitting infron of the FH still. I don't wanna shorten the current saran wrap I have opened and I may just wait till morning to get another roll to hack up for wrapping plates. These holidays are killing my work goals.

I confess I have fully colonized grain jars, plates to be transferred, spore to be put on agar, and grain jars to make. But I have been unable to do so, so everything is just sitting, waiting, hopefully hanging on just a little bit longer until I can be mobile. I hate this, but at least I finally know what is cause my nerve pain and have started (hopefully) my recovery.

I confess I have been neglecting the azzie stem butts on my porch, the cyan spawn that's drowning in a plastic drawer that I found on the side of the road (no holes in the bottom) I haven't gone out to get alder chips because I don't want to spend the money, and the spawn in my room needs to be expanded desperately but I've just let everything go because...why not? I also confess that I'm curious how doc found that cannabis! I used to walk the fence-rows on my families farm to find huge stinky plants that I confess I would process and smoke to some effect but that may have been due to pesticides rather than cannabinoids.

It was pure karma is all I can say, I've found single plants like this probably a half dozen or so times in my life, but only found 1 field (that I almost surely would have become part of if I wouldn't have said the right name). When I was 16 and recently received my license, I decided to go to a spot that I had been to since I was really little, but this time I was alone and exploring some new nearby territory. I walked out into a clearing on the Yellow river that borders eglin air force base and right in front of me was a cluster of what I assume at the time was about 50 plants. About the time I walked out to get a good look, 2 big rednecks came walking out one on each side of me and armed with shot guns. They started asking me why I was there and the first thing that came to mind was to start naming folks I knew lived in the immediate area for years and saying that we were meeting at the creek. Thank heaven they knew all of them and told me not to come back and I still haven't to this day.
Now that I am retired I spend 90% of my time in the woods or pastures hunting mushrooms. The only difference today is that I ask first, no more trespassing for me. So, it wouldn't surprise me if find another one. They are out there, how many times have you ever seen someone throw seeds out the window? I know for a fact that at least two plants I've found had to come from this because people were always throwing them out there and another was found in the sand dunes on Perdido key where there are limited places to get to the beach so everyone is funneled through them. Pay attention to what's around you and you never know what you will find.
