Yeah I have dealt with sciatic nerve pain off and on for years but this is by far the worst it has ever been. I have gone to a doctor twice in the last 10 years or so and I actually broke down and tried to go yesterday only for the doctor to dismiss me as if I were doctor shopping. Went there in pain, left there in pain and pissed off.

Yikes caps. My dad had similar injury from falling off of a roof. I truly appreciate the well wishes, seriously why I love this community, but don't want to hijack the confession thread so.... I confess I was rushing when I pour my last agar plates and agar did not fully melt before I started pouring. Half my plates look like a lunar landscape. Didn't let the first jar cool enough so the other half are chock full of condensation.

Doctors treat me like a drug seeker too. I use kratom and NSAID painkillers to manage my pain.

Dabs and meditation...
I confess, Asian style stir fry with carrots, onions, bell peppers, broccoli AND blue oyster had my son saying "mmm"! Didn't touch the pork dumplings we bought for him (he's still a meat eater, so we give him one night on our weeks) maybe it's rubbing off...

I drank enough poppy tea and kratom last night that I should not have been conscious but still didn't manage to get any sleep.

I confess I'm stubborn as hell and fought my back pain just to go get these aforementioned plates just for the potd thread. If I can't do anything with them, I can at least share them. Throwing one up here too just because... My GT(SH) strain grain 2 Agar 12\12

Just had my first ever jar break in the pressure cooker. Was prepping some agar, and think I let it vent a little too long. I always tighten the lids on my agar when I pressure cook them, and never have any issues as long as the pressure inside the cooker rises at pretty much the same rate as inside the jar. but I think I let it vent a bit too long and the pressure inside one of the jars got up enough to blow out the bottom. I damn near shat myself as I was standing next to it when it happened.

I confess I read the Shroomery on my phone in public all the time. One paranoid part of me always makes me think: "What if someone sees that I'm reading the Shroomery?!"
Then the other part of me makes me think: "If they can recognize the Shroomery at 5 feet away from my phone? - They Cool!"

I confess that I ran out of jars and used ziplock bags filled with grain, which promptly melted in the pressure cooker. I was too lazy to check the brand. They're not even airtight.
I confess that I put some agar to grain that had a slight greenish tint.
I confess that I used an agar wedge that dropped on the table to innoc grain, even though I could have just cut another wedge.
I confess that I burped into my SAB and went straight to work in it.
I confess that every time I fill bulk bags in the supermarket, I feel like I'm doing G2G.
I confess that every time I see a numberplate which contains the letters FAE or SAB, I chuckle.

I confess I got so excited to share when I finally had the ability, I gave away all my good prints. That, combined with my focus being almost entirely on isolating a GT strain, out of the 5 variants I started with, I am actively growing one and trying to revive the rest from old agar that I probably should have thrown out but am glad that I didn't. Time to put all my agar practice to the test.
