I confess I shook a jar of millet without tightening down the cap
That took a while to clean up. Love all the inoculation points, but these little fuckers get everywhere and they roll far too,
I also confess that I bought my first ever vacuum cleaner(with a built in 99.97 hepa in the exhaust) and its my new favorite cult tool. My grow has never been so clean.

Why would you pressure cook a fresh sterile blade? I've never done that.

Keeping a few old blades isn't a bad idea, in the event you can't get fresh blades... there's no need to autoclave them, though. Should be heating them before and during use. ... however, I've noticed that blades lose their sharpness after several hits with my torch... so, set expectations of recycled blades well below freshies.

I confess to having little sympathy for those experiencing problems when every "precaution"* isn't taken.

I lit a candlestick, didn't use a holder. Propped it up on a plastic case with foam in it on top of a wooden dresser. Fell asleep. Woke up and new immediately what was happening. The wall the dresser was against, 5ft from where I was sleeping, was all windows, like 5ft wide windows with no blinds, and I couldn't see anything the smoke was so thick and black. I instinctively scrambled towards it to fight the fire, but the heat pushed me back. The room was the upper floor, but was split level about 6 inches and I stumbled over the step down. Disoriented and choking I dropped to the floor seeking air. There was no oxygen. For a moment I thought this is it, I'll burn to death suffocating, then I saw light coming in through the back french door, the house was a berm so I escaped out the doors and into the backyard. Once the doors were open the fire could breathe. I wanted to go back through to get to the phone and fire extinguisher, but the heat was too intense. I circled to the front and the windows exploded and flames began to lick up to the roof. The front door was locked and my family gone to work. I grabbed pants from my car and ran to the neighbors for help. I watched from the next door lawn as the fire grew larger consuming the house from the top down. The fire department had to wait on a water truck to even start fighting it. Apparently when they broke the door open Kitty escaped. I took the EMS advice and spent the night in the hospital getting breathing treatments and was sent off with an inhaler. My lungs were filled with soot. Coughed up black for a while. The house was was considered a total loss although some things were saved, but much was ash like the vynil collections and classic videogames and movies sadly.
Now we have a brand new house. It's much nicer, but we don't burn candles inside.

Lysol? Shouldn't be using lysol anyhow... unless it states "sterilizes" instead of "disinfectant", it's inefficient at what you're looking to achieve... Requirements? NO,NOT AT ALL... SAB at minimum, but not with laminar flow... my success rate from plate to harvest is 90+: likely 95+, so not looking for sympathy: was a confession, more or less to get it off my chest... They're smart precautions, and I'd never reccomend NOT taking precaution... but necessity? No... Sympathy? Not needed nor sought after...
I confess, I (ME, NOT YOU, OR HIM, OR HER, OR YOUR MAMA'S SISTER'S COUSIN) work without any of that shit, do just fine, have less inventory to maintain, AND PUMP MUSH... NOT a recommendation, not a cry for help, or a plea for attention... JUST A CONFESSION...

Where you into mush cult at the time? Fuck that sounds like a close call brother. Happy you and the family we're ok and that the insurance did right by you. And extra happy it didn't turn into a trip to prison for growing.

I confess. Caps ain't playing. He just tells the chickens and ducks to stay out of the way while he is working in flow. Other than that not much precaution takes place besides the mask. And he got mad booms. Now that said if I try to do the same thing it will all be bacterial and Ill be wasting time. I use a half a spray bottle of IPA every time I glove up. And now I take the time to run my handles trough the PC and use swabs to streak plates. So far so perfect.

Holy shit quirk. Thanks for sharing and glad it worked out as well at it did! That is for real one of my biggest fears. A fire while I'm gone or that I can't stop in time. for real, so very glad this did not end up worse.

I use Lysol, but not to sterilize. My SAB is in an effective SAR (still air room, no vents or windows). I put everything I need into the room, mist the still air box with water, then spray the room with Lysol, let everything settle, then get to work. will Lysol sterilize the room, no. Would water sprayed in the room serve essentially the same purpose, mostly. Is using Lysol to disinfect the air in my house a bad thing, absolutely not. Does it serve the purpose for what I'm trying to achieve in my still air room, yes.
