I confess that I have missed my fellow shroomerites, hope everyone is well. This week is lab cleaning week and I confess that I hate it and now, my adult son is moving back home and that will complicate my studies because like to sneak into my research specimens or fungarium specimens, he's to lazy to get his own. Well, hopefully everyone is well, good to be back.
On another note, my father and my sons best friend that I have known since he was 4 have both come down with cancer. If, you are a believer in a higher power, please pray for them. My dad has long cancer and Christian has nasopharyngeal cancer. Christian really needs prayers the most, he's 22 and has about a 20% chance of beating this, so, please remember them in your prayers.

Don't feel bad, I'm the worst about it. I have probably given 4 ratings since I have been here.

Hey man I'm really sorry to here about your family and friends situation. I know that really sucks. I had cancer when I was 19 and my father has cancer right now too. I beat Hodgkins Lymphoma years ago but my dad has brain cancer. I'll keep you all in my thoughts and you should lock up your lab so people cant get in there. The last thing you need is someone to dime you out.

I confess... Iβd buy those expensive cat beers too.
I also confess... I spent 15 bucks on this scoop just because I thought it would be so great for scooping coir when Iβm making tubs.

Damn Doc!
So sorry to hear that. I lost my Dad to cancer on Christmas back in 2017. I jump in the frozen ocean in January every year as a fundraiser for the American cancer society.

I'm with you, coldest I've jumped into was the Chesapeake bay at Annapolis light house in February for our annual survival swim and I had on a gumby suit "survival suit", it was so cold it literally would knock the breath out of me as soon as I would hit the water, then my bronchia would spasm making it near impossible to get a breath for a few minutes. My hats off to all you polar bears.
Love you guys, thanks for the warm words.
@zombiewurm, it's not a magic mushroom grow lab, I do legitimate studies. If the cops want to waste their time and money coming after me then more power to them and if someone else wants to come in and grab something, they better hope that it is what they want because my system is by number not name and the Chlorophyllum molybdites looks really close to cubensis when dried, even looks sorta bluish, not to mention the large collection of Galerina.

Hell yeah I am for real, now I just need to win the lottery or have someone leave me a fortune in their will, I would do so much good for the world with real money.
I would love to be able to have a huge ranch, somewhere people could come to heal or if they are terminally ill, a place to die with dignity, compassion, empathy and love. This is something that I would like to be able to provide for free to those people whom are truly destitute and charge only what it cost to care for someone for the 0nes that can afford to pay.
You see all of the for profit shitholes on television advertising recovery for $30,000.00 U.S. a month for nothing. I would want to provide real counseling and life building skills and not the warehouse system that everyone else is doing.
So, if anyone wants to donate their ranch to me for a great cause, I can get started. π€£π€£π€£

Hey man it's something 100% do-able. We do something very similar here, basically a short in-between place to be in a camper or bus for people in need. The downside is finding out how many people are just not self motivated to get their shit together and other problems people bring sometimes.
