I confess. I've been crazy busy at work and today realized that my lights came unplugged so for the last 3 days it's been dark. Nothing is pinned so I don't know if it matters but damn. Got to get my shit together.

I confess, this is two months old. And I left it at room temp.

A testament to these cheapo media bottles from amazon. A shame to my agar practice. A liter goes a long way 'round these parts, I hope to change that.

I confes... I need to stop fucking with my tubs. I just keep fucking up the coir hydration and its either too wet and my fruits are small, or its too dry and comes within hours of aborting... Such as the case with this guy here. Noticed the cracking pins and gave it an 8ml bottom water, which saved it but the fruits look like shit... Whatever still potent and they work but i love canopies

EDIT: yo while i was making this post i was cooking up some kraft mac and cheese, the deluxe white cheddar and black peppercorn box....

I confess this is the best mac and chese ive ever fuckin had

I confess that after a recent fall back into depression, and a very hectic month or two, I let 5 mini monos fruit, rot, fruit, rot, fruit, rot. They were ready to harvest when everything started. By the time I got back to them, first flush was rotting and second flush was about half way grown. All I could do was watch as they slowly rose and then disintegrated over and over again.

I know too well, that state that has you debilitated to merely a distraught gawk on the other side of the looking glass - all you can do is idly stare while you watch the things you love wither and die.

Welcome back to the animate world. Hope your stay is much longer this time around.

I appreciate your understanding, footpath.

I'm sure I'm not the first, nor the last to say this, but this thread\forum\community\hobby have been immensely therapeutic for me. Almost feels like letting the mush down to fall back after having helped so much.
Winter is upon us now in my part of the world so just trying to plan, prepare, and save some money for my next big escape in the spring. Nothing like running away to the forest for a few months to put your mind at ease.

Mush love to all of you, now back to your regularly schedule confessions thread.

i find a weird satisfaction in letting a fruit or two go through this whole process from time to time. It's beautiful in it's own way.

Taste of its own medicine? Rot the rotter?

I confess, I took this straight to grain:

It is fascinating and beautiful the way they seem to completely disappear. Couldn't see any signs that the boxes were once seemingly overflowing with growing fruit bodies. They are there, and then they aren't.

I confess I don't understand this obsession. I have known people with multiple arrests, incarcerations, lost relationships, lost friendships and are still drawn back even decades later to this hobby

Did anyone ever dream about cultivating when they couldn't?

Do you ever walk into a store or shop and the mind starts thinking about how to use things for your "hobby"?

Have you ever walked in the woods and you could actually "smell" mycelium before finding fruits?

Yes to all of the above.

But realizing how much you love this hobby also teaches some of us when to play it safe.

But yes, lol.

I confess I just started germinating 4 different strains. This way I wont have to wait for them to germinate when I am ready to use them.

Edit: had a stroke
