I confess. I figured out that my filter is no good anymore. Bought it used so I knew this was coming just had hope it wouldn't be so soon. Makes me feel better because Im sure that's why I've been having so many problems the last few months. Speaks volumes to my self confidence. It took 10 out of 10 plates looking like I sneezed on them before I was sure it wasn't me. Rekon ill brush up on my sab technique case I got to get to work. Lost all my cultures over the last month. Fuck

Damn Thatβs horrible! Is there any chance you spilled some spawn and some of the grain got into the cracks and crevices around the face and front of your filter? Iβve had trouble from time to time and discovered a stray grain kernel that stayed hydrated long enough to grow some contaminants... and blow spores right into my plates / spawn. Things cleared up when I was able to clean it all up. Hereβs hoping you get that all sorted out.
I confess there are a few things I have on plates right now that Iβm very excited to see spawned and fruiting. Like these two:

I confess I don't know everything. I just know what works for me and what I've gathered from researching this site and others. Still learning and staying humble is key to me. Thank you to everyone that has helped me along my path to becoming a better cultivator.

I confess. Just poured plates in the SAB. Brings back some good memories. I also cleaned the filter out really well and did notice while cleaning it that the tape that holds the prefilters in was not sealed properly so I might have just had too much air flow and not been laminar. The blower I got is huge. It's wired for the slowest speed possible and I still have to block off 80% of the intake and use 5 prefilters. Going to do up some test plates now and see what's what. I confess. This sucks. I wish I had money or even credit LOl. But between the car last week. The dryer and now the water heater. Im taped out this month. And worst of all I ain't got no culture. And just so I'm not only bitching I also confess I got a great feeling about moving forward. The last 6 weeks I've been having a hell of a time and it's caused me to constantly be thinking on how to improve my sterile technique. Put me in front of proper flow and I'm Gucci. Hell even working in the SAB I feel extremely confident that it ain't me. I was getting to the point where I felt like it was all me. I felt like I could ruin a wet dream after lossing the culture I was working with most recently. But knowing it wasn't my fault is like lifting a weight. Gonna streak some plates and get this party started.

I confess, i was wondering how you found your way to my isolation thread... But now it makes sense.
I also confess, I've always poured a liter of agar at a time out of a captain morgan handle but i was just too curious. I broke down and am now the proud owner of 3 500cc media bottles. I'm excited to finally be a real mycologist.

My crib burnt down mid PC sesh and I came back to a crisp of a house frame. I thought it was my fault but it turned out to be oil rags spontaneously combusting. Shit was crazy, still donβt know how to feel.
