I confess i found an old 5gal bucket that had my notes from my first grows, lol. I used to use manure and verm and a small percentage of coir. Man i really hate pasturizing sub, its so much easier now. Much better than 10 years ago.

I confess. Just checked a box that was pinning and saw a patch of green. But also saw a good pin set. I cut the bottom off a water bottle put it over the patch and sprayed it with 70% Rubbing alcohol and threw it back in the stack. #fuckit.

I confess, I got to comfortable in this hobby and need to remind myself this is still illegal in most places. Encrypt your hard drives, use a good password manager, don't SAVE your login info in your browsers.
And if you do get popped don't be a rat and do your time!

I confess that I'm stuck in a strange conundrum. On the one hand, I want to grow a variety of, well, varieties. I just want to try out all kinds of different cubes. But I also want to grow from clones and work on getting a well performing 'strain.' Of course I can try both, but with limited resources(both time and supplies) I feel like I have to focus on one. Perhaps I'm over thinking it.
Not to mention I need to work on my sterile technique.

I confess that I haven't cultivated shit, been to overwhelmed, but on a good note I was sent some lsd several months back to compare microdosing LSD to shrooms and I have to say that the LSD beat the shrooms hands down.
Dosing with the LSD was so much easier and tastier than the shrooms, therapeutically LSD lasted longer and gave me more relief from my symptoms, but availability is nonexistent in my neck of the woods. However, shrooms are available nearly year round as long as it rains (which it hasn't in almost 2 months now).
7 blotters of LSD lasted for nearly a year microdosing, but I have to admit that I ate 2 hits whole and micro dosed the rest. Hope everyone is well, wishing you all the best.
Psilo my friend, sorry I haven't reached out in aw

I confess, I'm buying a house and don't have as much time for myco work. It's taken a small back burner, and I feel pretty good about it. I'll likely ramp up things when I that all sorted out, but keep the good fight going in the mean time.
As for Oats, this is how I look at it: Oats will exploit any flaw in your technique in a way that other grains don't do as easily. After almost two years of growing I JUST moved away from them as all my ducks were lining up pointing to them being an issue. Was it a constant issue? No, but about 20% of the time things would go way more bacterial than it should have. This persisted past me getting a flow hood even... so I started testing things and it seemed like the oats were a factor in this contam. I switched, bacteria hasn't reared it's head yet... Coincidence? Possible, not going to rule it out. But based on many reports I've read, this is a similar story for cultivators. So my thought is that something about the oat grain (possible the hull?) is more easily exploited by things we don't want exploiting it than other grains.
(I also feel this way about manure, and that doesn't mean either of these things shouldn't be used or don't work, it just means that you have to have pretty tight sterile technique, and not slip up)

Great to hear you are well. I was worried about you ol friend. The universe may reach out to you and make it rain =)
Great to have you back in the confessions thread and on the Shroomery. The ATL 7 spores you sent me have been working out great. I still have not tried the results of all that fantastic growth, but I"m looking forward to it.

I confess I just dropped a bag of 20 of the best first transfers I had on the ground. I picked them up and smacked them on a table to get the agar wedges back to the center. Hope they turn out fine!

I confess. Just went to load up the deydrator but it was already full... Never pulled the last round off. Shits were all rubbery. Did the right thing tho. Got super frustrated and threw them in the yard. Lol. Thought of just putting them in the bags with all the others but didn't. I confess. That one hurt. Whole deydrator full of RW for the damn squirrels.

Why not just pop the new ones in the fridge for a couple hours and finish drying out the ones in there?how long were they sitting that you felt like tossing them was best?
