I'm not tryna bring others down... I'm shedding light on the severity of the situation around here... I'm not about bragging, just recognize: I've spent more time mushing, than sleeping in the last few months... just saying, 36 jars instead of 20... not quite the same; assuring I'd made myself clear... I produced WAYYY too much spawn... not a brag, in fact, speaks a lot about my incompetence no?
Humility goes a long way... that sounds like something I'D say... you biting lines?
If I tore anyone down clarifying the degree of my shortsighted spawn production I apologize... you should probably grow the fuck up and pull your panties out your ass though... MUHBAD fishboy (also, NOT an insult: they called him that in the movie)
Not "able to dedicate 100%"... I've made sacrifices and TAKEN this shit brotatoe...

I confess.. If I were a noob I wouldn't know if I should buy a torch, a bottle of ISO or work in open air...

Not even sure the jar I place my tools into is even alcohol anymore:Was 70%, and left open more than once... May try plain water, or even dry flaming... I'm on this kick about putting forth as little effort as possible without diminished results lmao... we all have our thing I suppose...

We evolve
Alcohol is common practice, and I'm NOT suggesting anyone, ESPECIALLY noobs, to follow suit... this is a confessions thread: for questionable practice and admitted booboos: not an instructions... seemed an appropriate setting for the content... Got to be several months, even a YEAR from first to last quoted post: done some digging to make a point huh? holy shit... I'm the only dick around here posting am I? No one is obligated to adhere to anyone's advice... it's all opinion/preference anyhow... I like to share what/ how I'm doing shit, at the time I'm doing it that way... your post illustrates 2 facts quite nicely though:
1. I switch shit up, try new things on the regular, experiment: LIKE A SCIENTIST
2. There are MANY ways to skin a cat
ALWAYS FLAME AT MINIMUM... Whatever your instrument of choice be

There's nothing that says you have to expand them all, and nothing that says you must expand 1:10. I get if they're different clones you may want to keep them all going, but you could do just 2-4 jars for each master to make it more manageable. I tend to do them in 5's, 4 for spawning, and 1 to expand further.

I pretty much only do 1:5โs when Iโm testing new clones. One for the fridge and four for a mono, run the mono out then if it seems good expand the one I saved in the fridge 1:10 then run it out from there.

I don't expand tests... when I was G2G jars, 1:5 worked great... I'm 1 pint master per gallon bag now...
Point taken: that guy...
I'm not sure there's contradiction so much as an evolution of understanding... alcohol SANITIZES: which is NOT as clean as STERILIZED... Flaming STERILIZES... my understanding evolved to subtract the less efficient process from the middle... And again: confessions bromaine... ain't got no business looking here for suggestions lol

I read something that Bod wrote one time that the burden is on the nube, and after quick consideration that is exactly how it shud be.
Seems like after a while you can feel out peoole that when they tell you a "fact" about mycology, it is indeed a fact. Cronicr is one. Rarely ever see posts by him, but they are factual and clear. Bods like that much of the time. Pasty as well. Prolly cuz these dudes have friggin tried everything.

I confess i despise getting hugged by a man, or even simply touched. Doesnt matter which one. Makes me physically ill. However there was this one time at an old frinds funeral where i was all good and then it started to hit me, and before i had even showed any grief his son had just simply put his arm around me and held me. I needed it really bad and didnt know it. Fucking lost it.

off topic but I think you men have it so tough. Not all the time but quite often men showing affection or feelings or god forbid crying is a sign of weakness and are made to feel bad for it. It's bred into boys at an early age. It's so wrong and misguided. Strong men have feelings too.
Now can we have some real confessions? I did myco work today and nothing stupid to report!
I confess, I did however tiger drop a beautiful PE plate into a grain jar that had cracked in the PC yesterday. Not sure how I didn't notice all the grain at the bottom was boiled and soggy.

Conf: well had a better summer than last, penicillin has been the popular contaminate and only four triched shoeboxes. Still haven't seen a worthy fruit to clone from the PESH I have been running on the side. Now fall is here and trich came back with a vengeance last night.
Six shoe boxes and a 24q of burma fertilizer for the lawn, the cubes never had a chance to knot. Just hate wasting coir like that. The lawn mushrooms are happy though this year, cant walk 10 feet without tripping on a fungal friend. The good side of the deal is I now have a empty roster to run a different verity. As they say, every tragedy opens the door to opportunity.
