I thought it would be chill. Stay home. Play with the kids. Smoke weed all day and grow mushrooms all night. Well. Kids are none stop work. And now the baby is sick. No shit I picked up some gigs not for the money. But for the time away from home. Whew, all you stay at home parents out there. Keep your head up! We are doing God's work for sure. Now... Gonna try to pour some agar while the monster naps.
Made me giggle.. Good luck my friend. It can be a grueling journey.. but well worth it..

Don't feel so bad dude my albino cambos turned out the same way. About the same flush as yours too with bottom pins. Have it on its side in the GH now.

I confess on my very first go with cubes, I waited too long to use my AA+ syringe (a little over 3 months), and got an absolutely dismal harvest with no albinos. It took 2 more attempts with spore prints to get a good turn out but still no albinos. I have gotten some more pale ones, and some leucistic ones that I can been working on agar to try to get back to something resembling an albino.
To date, my AA+ mini has been one of my best tubs, but still really really want that albino, damnit

AA+ isn't an albino, so that's probably your problem. Try ape for a real albino

As I said, I am new, but Albino A+ shouldn't be expected to have albino? I understand leucistic and albino are not the same and I am ok with that and that genetic mutations may not always be present, especially when dealing with a mss but is the name just a misnomer?

this makes me feel better about the agar work I've done trying to isolate the lighter ones. Would this mean that all the white A+ photos I have seen are leucistic?

Only if it's spores were clear would it be a real albino. Some Lucy's will have more pigment than others, gonna be some varying due to genetics.

Gotcha. I think my question may have been worded poorly. One more and then I'll stop hijacking this thread. My understanding was that mss of an albino variant would likely contain spore both with and without the albino mutation. Is an AA+ expected to contain some spores both with and without the leucistic mutation? Or is there no difference at all between an A+ syringe and an AA+ syringe?
I'm not so much worried about the "true Albino" genetics. And regardless of mutations, I am very pleased with myself that I was able to get anything out of that syringe and how much the genetics have improved since I started. I guess at this point I'm really just trying to understand the difference between an A+ variant in an AA+ variant.
On the bright side, this discussion may distract everyone from putting my hair in a blow torch.

Sounds like what they saying is that neither A+ nor AA+ are albino or lucistic varieties. That true gentleman?

A+ is a strain/variety of cube. Albino A+ (AA+) is a stabilized leucistic variety (not actually albino) that originated from the A+ strain.

Exactly the info I was looking for. Thank you sir and\or ma'am!! In this light, I correct my confession to: I confess on my very first go with cubes, I waited too long to use my AA+ syringe (a little over 3 months), and got an absolutely dismal harvest with no leucistic fruits. It took 2 more attempts with spore prints to get a good turn out but still no lucys. I have gotten some more pale ones, and some leucistic-esque (though still not as white as I have seen they can be) ones that I can been working on agar to try to get back to something resembling an albino.
To date, my AA+ mini has been one of my best tubs, but still really really want that white mushroom, damnit
Pony tail is ok. First hair cut I've had in 4 years or so not even noticeable. I was worried it may have burned higher up and took a chunk out, but all is well.
