Yeah, if our country has any sense we will decriminalize all of it. No good raising a country full of adult children. I mean, look at what Portugal has done.

I Think marijuana had laid the ground work for mushrooms, and it won't take nearly as long... still 10-15 years before they're an afterthought though

What worked?!? Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh need to know.

I made a fresh 50 gram tea, started off kinda in an argument with a friend. I also figured it was going to be a difficult time cause I was going thru something with my girlfriend and it was a messy emotional situation.
Anyways I just wanted to figure things out. I've been reading about Tibentan book of the dead, and some other stuff and just kept in mind to relax, not think and just go with it.

It was incredible, Its like every other time I just like felt the effects of a drug. This was different in a way i cant explain. My eyes opened up, I integrated with the experience, I came alive. It was magical, and so strange to navigate. If I started to even begin to focus on it, it lost clarity, but the less I tried to dial in, the sharper the image got. I had to just believe I would retain the experience and let go

more about it

I confess, I drive an hour to work and I dont mind it...lots of time to think about the transfers and cleaning to do when I get off

When you say fresh 50 gram, I'm assuming you mean the mushrooms were fresh? Imagine a 50g tea of dried shrooms oml.

I confess, I didn't end up doing it because I didn't get home until almost 8pm, have to be up at 6am. Also, I've been exhausted lately between work and my side hussles, and passed out around 9:30pm anyways.

I confess some of the best trip experiences I've had were by accident. Like the time I woke up real early and made chocolates. Cleaned the bowl, utensils and all a little scraps of chocolate laying around and went back to bed. Woke up a couple hours later tripping balls! Looked up at my inter-dimensional portal of a ceiling fan like what the fuck?

I'm leery about dosing most of the time but try to remind myself not to be scared to take too much. Too much is the most fun.

I confess, it is my opinion that side pinning is caused by an under hydrated substrate.  When the substrate starts drying out, it starts shrinking and that allows a microclimate to form around the edges of the tub and substrate.

A properly maintained substrate shouldn't shrink so much before or during the 1st flush. This is strictly based on my personal observations, I've been wrong before.

I would agree with you, sort of. It's not from under-hydrated, but it is from drying out/shrinking. "Under" hydrating is what fixed my issues because the myc doesn't tend to need to squeeze out the extra moisture as much

I'm sure it helps, but certainly not the only cause. If you fuck up your surface enough you'll get sidepins without shrinkage. They wanna go somewhere. Matted, dry, or smothered will all give you sidepins as well. Maybe I'm taking your post too literal though.

I confess I tamp the sides so tight that side pins/shrinkage are a none issue. Only time Ive seen them was when I tried to fruit invitro. Side pin city. Couldnt get my meaty mits in the jar.  I mean I get the water right and maintain surface conditions so maybe the tamp thing isn't doing as much as I believe. But I'll tell ya you won't catch me with no lose ass humped up sub. Shits flat and flush or bust all the way.

I've done 46.5g dry in a single dose: and 100 dry grams in a 22 hour excursion... it's not unheard of

I'm still see shrinkage:hehehe: in my tubs with 1.25qts'h20:1br/1qtverm. I even have to finish breaking up the dry clumps a half hour in so that they get hydrated, and there are no "dead*" spots in my sub.
I'm having a shit time dialing in my tubs with these weather changes, it brings in the humidity then dryness back and forth, it's annoying...
*dead; as in non-colonized, I've noticed it with clumps of coir...

I confess im getting ready to start my first small shoe box, im debating whether to fruit in an SGFC or fruit with a plastic bag over the top, how do you all fruit your boxes?

Im doing 1 quart oats to straight coir at a 1:1 mabye 1:2 ratio, gonna case with straight verm

Second confession I usually case with just verm since the mycelium doesnt colonize it any and I like that but ive been reading alot about using jiffy seed starting mix as casing and even a few people mentioning cactus mix as a casing layer and now i keep looking at my bag of cactus mix and wonder how it will work, gonna test it on a small tray

Funny, I actually did dose last night and work today. It was a harvest day and I felt like celebrating with a little bit of everything on hand. I had a blast. And work wasn't too bad. Just set up a party room in my house with some lights and speakers and whatnot and it was a great time.

1qt clean oat spawn, 1:2 field capacity coir only with a 1/4" top layer of coir only at spawn ... snapped shut and hardly looked at until day 9ish, then once a day til harvest... snapped shut til the end, they figure it out... id they're tall and the pinset is thick, unsnap and let them push the lid... mist only once,if at all

What have you been doing?
