Wait... dosage advice is against the rules? My bad, I thought it was only specific recommendations (Like "Bob for you I would take 3g and call a doctor" Not "I like to do this method and these amounts")

I confess that I see no point in ice extraction, you get a more complete extraction using heat and the stove DOES NOT produce enough heat to degrade psilocin or Psilocybin. The more you break down the mushroom material, the better the extraction. I use a coffee grinder that is dedicated solely for mushrooms to grind them into a fine powder that has the consistency of flour, I boil it in homemade tea bags made from coffee filters and string or you can just drink it with the liquid. Personally, I don't like the mushrooms So I strain it.
In my experience, adding a few tablespoons of lemon juice can help boost the potency. Citric acids help break down the cell walls and that releases more active insoles into the water.
Edit: USE COTTON STRING

Lately when I've been doing it itd with fresh fruits. I just cut them up into manageable size pieces.
If.you powder them to much there hard to separate/strain. Usually if there dried properly I can just crumble them enough with my hands
You'll know when its getting good because all the pieces will start sinking.

The way I do it, it's not different than making a single serving of tea with a tea bag, the hard part is tying the bag shut. If you have an old coffee pot, use the filter holder and pour boiling shroom water in the filter and let it drip like making a pot of coffee, after pouring all the shroom water through the filter, take some clean boiling water and rinse the filter and shrooms to get anythin left behind.

Awh man, tea is where it's at! My preferred method is either hibiscus tea with a touch of honey, OR
I make a quick savory "soup" with some broth. IMHO, savory makes more sense with mushrooms
Either way, getting that medicine in your body is the important thing

I confess I’m very excited to be started some PE from spores for the first time in years.
I sourced some good genetics. Here is the second or third transfer from my first germination:

I’m going to do some inoculations from my second set of spores next week. Wish me luck... maybe there will be a swab giveaway. <3 <3

I confess, I spawned a jar of Flammulina velutipes the other day, the mycelium was like nothing I've ever smelled before, can't even think of how to describe it. Has anyone else here grown them before? It was a very pleasant smell.
I also confess that I get crazy excited when I'm out somewhere and smell fresh mycelium in the air, I will track it down and bring it home to put on pasty plates.
My name is Doc and I'm a mushroom cultivation addict, I haven't gone more than a few hours without doing something mush cult related, it's all I can think about, except for hunting mushrooms.

I've got the fever bad. It has long since stopped being a hobby. My life pretty much revolves around cultivation.

I've been having a really hard time focusing on any non-myco task lately. I pretty much have to leave the house to prevent myself from finding some transfer to do, plate to pour, or bin to oogle.
