Hard to beat free outdoor conditions though... and they still bring $10 lb
I need to get on the ball building this grow room, but no incentive lately ... I'd almost suspect contamination, as the culture I have pretty much fruits in any conditions ... I even have pictures of a box I treated just like cubes in a shoebox, 1:1 coir only, with the lid unsnapped for a little extra FAE... I've read it'll grow on practically anything, even straight coffee grounds, or newspaper alone!

Interesting indeed, I did pf tek but used malt powder instead of BRF and i did pf tek with woodchips/sawdust added in and spawned the malt to coir and cased with verm and put into a SGFC a couple weeks ago with still no pins or anything, hopefully my pearl oyster on oats does a little better
I got some cordyceps militaris I gotta get going on oats/crickets/mealworms and see if i can fruit it to gonna be good practice on making transfers and agar to grain since my sterile technique sucks in a SAB

That is my confession.
Good for you for looking out for him, thatβs pretty shitty to see someone you love like that. Bad feelings. Love to you Psilosopherr β€οΈ
And love to all you guys, I feel the same way! Love you lots but I do spend too much time in here!

You ain't kidding my friend, especially last part about robbing and shit, withdrawal has made good people do desperate and stupid things, it starts out fun but ends in nightmare.

When you're short on oats for your next run, go an hour into town just to find out your main supplier closed down and your backup is out of stock for 2 more days.
Considering using wbs for a run instead just to get this culture in jars

Fuck, that's happened to me. I've been twice to get oats from a feed shop and both times they were out of stock. I found some nice wbs though with not much shite in it (it's mostly grains and a few sunflower seeds) so I'm making do with them

I confess, I made up some pf style cakes with different contents, but after sterilizing them and getting them ready to inoculate, I found something in one that shouldn't have been there and I don't know how I missed it.

Guess that spore print was in a hurry to get into the jar.

Dude, are you ok, do you have a fever or is just an average looking stripper? I'm pretty sure I could have managed both and I'm an old man.

I just had to drive an hour to get hardwood fuel pellets. Apparently they are hard to come by in the south during the summer lol. I just couldn't handle paying 15 bucks a bag for the fancy bbq version.

I confess. I done fucked up lol. I got some fruits out of the spent sub pile and wanted to print them. Thought it would be a good idea to wipe the caps with ISO before printing them. Lol. Dont do that! Came back 24 hours later to piles of blue slime and 0 spores. Haha. I mean I have never read anywhere that thats a thing to do. Not sure why I did it. I only wanted to see if the spores were rusty or not. I have plenty of prints. Now I'll never know. I blame the new weed and kratom combo im on. Red kratom and indica bud can make you stupid.
