So,I got stoned and decided to take a drive today. I ended up doing a driveby of the field where my mushroom experiences started.Creeper style.(pics and all)

Hard to believe that I would trudge thru all this to get to that magical place at the very far end, where the stable waste piles were dumped, multiple times a week. (old hunting pics)
20 yrs ago,I had an "in".(farmer let me roam)Now I'm too scared to even check or ask the new owners. I wish I was able to hunt and collect samples for home study. But for now,I just pass by and reminisce.

I used 15 grams of LME and between 15-20 grams of agar per 1000ml. Water Depends how soft or stiff i want it. But my cultures aren't used to the switch yet from PDA
I just switched.

I see a lot of germination problem posts and I have to say I've never NOT had germination on standard MEA. Not even once have I streaked a plate with a swab and not had germination with dozens of varities/strains.

If u start eating them everyday macro doses become micro doses.
Hey I like how u have 6 bags in one tub. I might be able to fit 4 in mine if I formed the bags that way.

It's the main factor of my SAGARI Method (which I need to update; lots I need to do as far as documentation goes)

I’ve always used 10/10. 10 grams agar 10 grams LME for 500 ml.

That's standard MEA, and works great... I just prefer the softer agar... it can be a PITA to work with to start, but once you get used to it, you'll never look back... I especially like not shaking jars, and seeing full colonization in 4-6 days (typically)
I confess, I'm a fucking emotional mess! I love you guys, and want to thank each of you for putting up with me

you're good. seek balance. be patient with yourself.
i confess. last night i contemplated suicide. i mean, i do that kinda regularly anyway, but this was more real somehow. i dosed to investigate it, but didn't go deep so as not to be too risky. feeling better today, but still not well. need more time.
meanwhile, life is good. i'm getting impatient with my pan cy projects. just can't find any speedy cultures. gonna try adding urine to the agar to speed things up.

I met a dude once who claimed to have gotten to the point where he was eating an oz every day. He said he took himself to rehab.

My current recipe is 6g agar 8g lme 500ml~ water. It's still soft compared to the 10g agar that I started with, and it def spreads out the inoculation points better than the solid stuff... But I don't have what it takes to go full SAGARI. It's just too.... floppy. I only pour sagari if I'm going straight a2g for sure with it.

This is too sad bro I have felt with depression and that feeling my whole life also. Its not worth it! But its sucks when u feel that way. If u EVER need anyone to talk to just hit me up and I'm sure lotsa others on here are willing to talk and help too! U offer a lot to this community I would be so sad to not see u around anymore!

That's awful man. I'm glad you have some powerful tools at your disposal to investigate and address those feelings.
If you haven't already come across this article (practical thoughts on suicide), I totally recommend it. Really gave me some things to meditate on.
