I friend told me today that Denver decriminalize psilocybin? Made me so happy to hear the ball is finally in motion on this also.
Yeah, they just made it so that people won't get ticketed for psilocybin, it's a step, but we're still a ways from it. I'm hoping to see full legalization in my lifetime.

And thanks! I admit (thread theme, sorry, gotta confess!) that since I moved in the beginning of march I haven't been as on my game as I used to be since I haven't had much space/time to work with healing folks. I used to see 3-4 clients a month, now it's down to 1-2. It's good/awesome work, but I've had to focus on myself lately and I've been slacking a little. Though, last month I did guide my first healing group. It was a co-op of basically hippies, and I helped all the new house-mates have a guided journey together as a bonding experience. It was beautiful.

I read that last night. To stay kinda on topic I confess I was up until about 1 am and that was the last thing I read about (when mushrooms is the last thing on your mind before falling asleep then you know you're truly in love). I'm pretty happy to see that and I hope it catches on and is just the beginning for a bright shroomy future. I wonder how much time will pass before mushrooms get to a point where marijuana is today in the US.. if ever?

Well, if you go by pot as the only leading example of this, that was first legalized in '96... so we're looking at 22 more years to get there... and this isn't even legalization like pot was. Then you have to look at the medical/recreational status... sigh. I'll be in my 60s I'm guessing
Honestly I'm more hoping we do what some other countries did (i.e. Portugal) and just decriminalize everything everywhere at once, then work on legalization.

Gonna be hard to beat the "opiod epidemic" fearmongering to decriminalize everything in USA. Furthermore as research is conducted psilocybin become more big pharma which plays back into the corruption. They don't want us to help ourselves.
I confess I doubt we will truly see an end to this war on drugs in our lifetime, but it would be alot cooler if we did.

I confess, not too long ago I was afraid to jump into germinating more than 1 variety because my confidence was not where I wanted it to be and now, maybe 2 months later I have 3 varieties of cubes and some pan cyan going and p. galindoi just started as of today. I still havent produced a single mushroom but I've went through probably 200 petris just cleaning cultures and learning from hands on experience. Been loving this hobby and I'm really glad I returned to it.

What you have is actually early signs of a disease that should have a name but doesn’t. Be careful, you are showing symptoms. Uncared for it could become a full blown addiction and you will be completely out of control. This is basically our support group. There is little attention given to our type of affliction, no one in the outside world can understand. It’s a terrible shame. But we are here for you!

One day a buddy showed up randomly where I was living with a pressure cooker he had received as a gift for Christmas. We were both young stoners, heavily into mysticism with no psychedelic experience. He tells me I'm gonna grow mushrooms and that I have more free time to read and learn how. I say fuck it, why not? Two days later he comes back with a sack of chicken feed I'm pretty sure was cracked corn lol. That's how I got started into mycology.

Went to make up some agar this morning, had everything measured out and then found out I only had 2g left. Anyone made .5% agar before?

I was always curious about drugs. When I was 10 I was stealing booze and weed from my dad. 11 I saw a news program about poor mans cocaine and realized they were talking about the pills I had to take every morning so I stole some of those and snorted them. (Worst idea ever) found out early im not into uppers. The kids I was with were my older sisters freinds so they were 16 and I was 12. We all went camping and dude gave me the L. It wasent my first time trying but before was paper and only one hit. The 4 gel tabs took me to hell. I retreated to my tent where a green vortax opened up and swallowed me into it. It honestly took me years and years to get over it. Im still afraid if triping lol. But I man up and take my medicine cause it trully helps me in so many ways.
