This is the 2nd batch i have done and they come out great. I ain't got time for the drying thing and am currently fruiting some wet spawn and you can see the difference. When the grains are dry it smells like a forest in my shoebox When the grain was wet it smells like shoes in my shoebox. I like forests. Hate feet.

Well tonight I told him I made DMT and I guarantee he's going to "see what I see". He said no way. This is going to be a fun report back.

Interesting concept Bph. Drying oats is a PITA. I use a big screen and a hair dryer.
Are they really that hard to dry? I strain them shake the colander a couple times and let them sit on the counter for an hour or so and they're good to go for me

I found that to really let them dry then it takes overnight. Like 8 hours or so. Bod says this as well.
I guess some people are just impatient?

For 10 quarts I can get them to where I like them in about 30-45 minutes. The last 10 minutes I roll through them laid out with the hair dryer. That damn husk holds onto a lot of "wet".

Just let them dry right. Adding verm seems to bite people in the ass. Seen a handful try it, and non stuck with it. It's still too wet and will encourage bacteria.
/e summer's right around the corner. They dry faster out in the sun.

Not to mention you got me a a ton of other people on that rusty whyte when we couldn't even get i to the marketplace! Thanks again for that as well. You da man Caps.

Honestly i know and feel it is wrong hince the confession.😔 I feel the shame😜 i just want to find some use for this vermeculite and reasons to post in true confessions cause i love confessing. It just feels good to me. I rekon i will start mixing it with my coir or mix up some soil for this years 🌶. And no its not hard to dry them properly it just takes time. I cooked, drained, and PC'd that batch of jars in one night after getting home from work at 10:30. When i went to bed the house was back to normal. I got kids and shit. An 8 year old and a 1 year old. Grandma stops by all the time. I got to be sort of careful and cutting corners is kinda my thing. I have also thought of going in the convection oven on sheet trays lined with papper towels after draining to dry them out a well so i can load em up that night. I dont know. Whatever? Soon it will be a non issue cause i am working towards setting up a lab in the garrage to try my hand at edibbles and i will have all the space to make a mess i want, and i will have a flowhood, and big pretty petri dish cultures. Oh and bags of all kinds of mushrooms fruiting. Ill have the time to do things right. And. And. And.😴😴😴

My confession is this
Side stepping the marketplace, isn't smart... And in fact I'd have never givin rw prints away to the people that came from fb or to complete noobs... The marketplace guidelines are in place to try to keep all of us safe, since what we do is illegal... Think, all it takes is you sending an envelope with your address on it to the wrong person.. And you're fucked...and this is why I won't donate prints to anyone that can't access the marketplace

How does the marketplace protect you? And if you ever put your real adress out there your crazy. Honestly for the first couple months i was scared you are all cops. Haha. I felt that this could all be an elaborate ploy to get me posting posting pics of felonies. Dont matter i got all the genetics i could want from caps cause he is tha man. Redboy. PE6, rustywhyte, AA+. Lucky for me you didnt get to decide if i was worthy or not.

Yeah... went through all that with bigsurmoon last week... I'll be limiting my interactions to suit others, no issues... and spores are legal: won't ship to Cali, GA or ID personally, and went through people's posts before sending them out Willy nilly... it's all good though: will no longer be an issue

Because 90 days weeds out the fakes, anyone that stays 90 days is at least cultivating cakes or somethin..and breaking the law just as I am.. I gave a shit load of rw prints out(45)in 1 giveaway...but not to anyone from the shroomery fb page or noobs..my mail carrier knows me personally so putting a false name and addy don't work for me(the joys of living in a small town)... So I won't fuck with trading with anyone outside the tribe or marketplace..

While that is smart, since prints are legal just sending a print doesn't mean you grew the mushrooms it came from, also for your addy, why not get a PO box in the next town over or something?

Thats why i am all the more thankful caps reached out and set me up to never need a print again from anyone. Still dont see how the marketplace protects you tho? If you put it out there you take that risk. Im just sticking up for the person that actually helped me get to where i am with this thing. I have said my piece on it now im going to make some agar and get back to why im here.
