I'm not gonna lie, I just found out how nice oats dry out when you leave them set in a colander over night.

I confess, my favorite part of growing is inoculating bottles fresh out of the PC. So clean and excited energy for the potential growth!

Yes! I do 4 kg at a time. I ain't got time to wait for that shit to dry. Put the pot on after dinner. Chuck it into an old small SGFC. Give it a stir just before bedtime and it's perfect by morning.

Are you worried about contam? I ask because I put a pot lid on my colander in the fridge over night... it seems stupid when you think of all the holes in the colander right? Well it's all pre-PC, so fuck it.

I confess that late on the 4th after work I put my first ever panaeolus cyanescens (alabama) gifted to me by Mary Child. ( Thank you!)

Just took a look at then and already germinated! So cool how much faster they germinate compared to cubensis. Also just moved my GH inside a smallish closet with a radiator so now I can control the temp.

So excited for my first pan grow!
I expect nothing tho haha

Pans kick ass! I'm trying them on oats spawned to coir and manure and verm, so far I went heavy on the coir and light on the manure but the oats don't seem to wanna jump onto the coir only the manure, so I made another mixture of mainly manure

Nah. I do put DE in with the grains, so don't have issues with insects.

I confess I'm pretty excited about my brother in law coming over tomorrow. He's a big fan of taking my chocolates for dates and shit but sticks to his story, "I don't see the shit you see".

Well tonight I told him I made DMT and I guarantee he's going to "see what I see". He said no way. This is going to be a fun report back.

I confess i grew tiered of waiting on oats to dry and looking at the big bag of verm on my porch. So now i throw a hand full of dry verm in with the cooked and drained oats. No mas over night mess. Its ugly but the mush dont seem to mind so neither do i and my wife is less pissed in the AM cause the kitchen is back to normal when she wakes up.

I'd be happy to be your Shaman if you were close Shaper. Bro-in-law said he has to work late so it's not happening today but I think I'll have wifey babysit for me anyway.

Interesting concept Bph. Drying oats is a PITA. I use a big screen and a hair dryer.
