Thanks. It trully has made me a better person. I was so angry and full of hate and negitive vibes. I mean I have always been a soft spoken guy and people think I'm nice cause I'm quiet and respectful. But the truth was I couldnt even look people in the eye cause I was so anxious. I would bury my feelings and bottle them up till I exploded on the wrong person. I hated myself for being an addict but hated myself even worse without drugs. Fast forward 4 months later last pill was thanksgiving and I have dosed heavy once a week on avarage for the last 3 months. Im not sure when or if I will slow down the big doses cause for now Im foucused on not shooting pills in my arm. I honestly belive the mushrooms will lead the way and let me know what to do tho. Its like they knew I needed a heafty supply so they blessed me with canopies out the gate.

My 16 year old daughter caught me birthing cakes early one morning. She walked in the kitchen and said, "oh my gawd, it smells like mushrooms, I hate mushrooms, what are you making?". Told her it was a biochem project. All my work happens in a 20 ft shipping container built into a shop. She followed me out and peeked in the door...I kicked her out, told her I didn't want her messing with my 'research'. About a week later, "Dad, my friends think it's sooo cool you grow mushrooms!". Fuck:) Told her they were portobellos and we already made pizza with em when she wasn't home so she didn't have to eat em. Damn kids! HH

I think a majority of people even If you say you grow mushrooms to the older generation that they would assume normal mushrooms.. maybe? Younger generation not so much lol.
I'm 26 and it seems like a lot of the older peeps are so slept on mushies lol.

You might be right. Although I get seriously raised eyebrows from the PhDs in the lab when talking about pouring plates for myc. It doesn't matter if I say Reishi, portobello, or oyster. They all assume I am a mad tripper producing mass quantities of psychedelics.

But.. are they right?
Lmao I wish more people just didn't give a hell what other people do with their time . I mean in a general sense. Everything's gotta be such a big secret for something so peaceful. Wild, wild world we live in.
But then again, majority of that is just the Western World. I need to start traveling some more!

Exactly! I've been politely asked to 'not bring any biological material into the lab'. Love it...stiff sons of bitches...and at my age, too. Open your mind a little, cracking the door feels good! We grow all kinds of bacteria on purpose, but fungi is a no, no? What happened to good ol academia?
Vibe, I agree...travel, travel, travel.

Just a thought, but ever consider having a heart to heart with your teen: being honest and asking for some help with discretion?

And know your not alone going forward. You'd be surprised at the amount of your peers here that have a very similar story. Myself included. It only gets better. I don't know you but I'm proud to have you as a peer here.
