Also I can get prints from my buddies if I wanted to, but I went with syringes because I wanted to start from the bottom. It's a culture, dont be so anal over it.
That's a members hard work, and dedication, and generosity, for sharing it. it's not just a culture, you obviously have no respect for what it took for us to be able to have it.

Just keep using your best judgement caps. It's ultimately up to you who and how you want to give your stuff away for free. If people fail to follow directions, you shouldn't have to chase them down. You're never going to please everyone 100%, some will always complain no matter which choice you make.
I totaly get the journal giveaway, I'm not a fan of the market place lurkers either. So many I rarely see contributing to the forums(if at all) snatch up most the free stuff. That's why I just tell people to reach out to me in my sig. I'm happy to share with anyone that participates & helps here. But I don't feel obligated to send things just cause of 3 months, 50 posts, and hitting the post fast as flies on dookie.

I must confess, I do lurk on the marketplace but ive been saving up prints of my own to do my own give aways soon! I've been trying to help out by donating prints when people need them, seems like a lot of Australians have trouble sourcing spores

Why should someone new that hasn't even contributed anything to the community get a crack at one. It ain't my project, so who am I to say.lol

Caps McGee said: What earns them the right then specifically? Post count? Registration? I thought the prints I took, from the fruit I grew, from the print I received, were mine to do with as I wished? My mistake... I'll need everyone to promptly send them back, with return postage paid until you earn rights to them, and I can send them back out...
Are you still without? I'll part with a special one just for you if this is what it's about?
I check everyone out before sending prints, and have been a few I refused to send based on my own better judgement: which is how I intend to do trades/giveaways, whether the person has marketplace access, trade ratings or not... but if I'm breaking the rules by accepting full responsibility and providing a route to faster access, I'll close the journal and post any future giveaways in the appropriate location... I've posted several times that if any established, contributing member is still without, to get with me...
I guess just wanting to grow mushrooms and going through the giveaway process accordingly was enough when added to my consideration based on observation of, or assurance otherwise, of contribution/evidence of such... JUST got a message "could I participate in another giveaway? My friend over here wants one too "... and now this?
More power to you Caps. Like you said, they're your spores to do what you like, and I think by spreading these genetics around, you're only benefiting the survival of the variety itself.
I don't have access to the marketplace yet because I've been a member for less than 90 days, but I have been cultivating for years. That being said, I'm glad that I wasn't subjected to any sort of elitism in that respect, and was able to claim a print in Cap's giveaway.
Anyway, sorry to hear that you're probably going to stop the giveaways Caps. I'm thankful to have sniped that window of opportunity and get my hands on the genetic artistry that is RW. When my life is a bit more stable, I will be pumping out prints and sharing them with the community.

yeahh me too. Started setting an alarm for everything after I did it to my AA, but of course that one didn't warp.
Just started using my warped presto again recently. Unless I see a post on here someday about somebody blowing up a warped presto I'm not gonna worry about it, seems fine.

Yesh. My 23 quart presto I have to push down on the lod as pressure builds. Then once ots got 5lbs of pressure or so I can let off of it and its stays sealed.
