I've read your method of doing giveaways and thought damn, thats a great idea. Its pretty easy to get disorganized with dozens of messages and posts. It stresses me out. Then I see your very well structured giveaway (in thought) crumble. Just fucking read people and follow the instructions. Sorry man I feel your frustration. Btw I still have a giveaway going on in the MP.
Back on topic - I confess I have not been treating the spirit molecule with the respect it deserves. In my noob trials and was accidentally on the edge of hyperspace this morning from "just a tiny hit" before running out the door. Delayed my plans for a while.

You can give prints away without using the marketplace... I do... specifically so newcomers can have access
I hope you know I really appreciate the print and am still working on getting some progress pics! Just yesterday put some to grain from my clean transfers. Hope I'm not part of the problem, I promise to post more progress pics ππ

And for that I am very thankful Caps! I've spent about 40 bucks so far (with a little more to spend) in preparation to be able to spread some RW back to the community. Sucks to hear that there are individuals that abuse others generosity.

If memory serves, you sent your address in the first message... And though you requested additional and specific prints, you offered to "PayPal me some money"... I'm just venting... I can't go astray from the mission I've been given: but it'll likely be a good while before I post anything else... anyways
I confess, I'll be glad when I no longer automatically reach for a cigarette, everytime I drive further then a mile or so... and even more stoked to get something really going with these legal cultures... reishi, bunapi, and king oysters on grain now
Very sad indeed Chup

Yes your memory is correct. I still don't know if you mean that I was or was not part of the cause of disenchantment you're feeling. I offered to send some money because you are obviously more than generous by offering noobs prints, and I feel you deserve some reimbursement even though you don't ask for it. Just trying to show gratitude βΊ You are a huge help to this community, IMO.

I'm Just giving you hell, and understand that some species will not do well without it... but I don't see pushing out more than an already full canopy... I guess it might give larger fruit, but I'd speculate not, as dung is pretty insufficient at holding moisture: water being the majority of fruit size... just too perfect with the nutrition of grain spawn, and water retention of coir: marriage made in heaven... simple, effective... but by all means, IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE WITH YOUR POOSPERIMENTS!(Lol, sounds like a poor choice for a gum flavor)
haha
I don't expect spectacular results, it's just for the shits and giggles. I have some friends who have a few elephants who are intrigued by their swimming pool:

I'm just frustrated with the struggle... and likely on edge a bit from no smokes (61 hrs and going strong!) Not to mention it was the first thing in my face this morning, after waking up THREE HOURS before I needed to be up... night sweats a bit, but I got this... just got home and about to burn a second bowl and decompress... I've made a pact with "Gregg" to keep this thing going: to spread knowledge and spores- (specifically stated) to the absolutel best of my ability... I will persevere, thx for putting up with me and my hijinx... (this weed is GOOD!)

Bypassing the marketplace to hand out RW? Not cool. People should have to earn the right to it.

Why is that not cool? It helps to ensure more people have access to it because not all people can access the marketplace, and it helps out the newcomers plus spreads the RW spores far and wide

I agree. I'm all in, once I get spores on agar, I'll grow it out, then give some dishes (T3) to my buddies to grow. See how far it goes from there. I've learned so much over the past month, it suck being unable to partake in the full access, plus I'm looking for non psycho active aand can't find them, other than the marketplace.

Cause it's the rules... And there's probably a good reason for it. I felt privileged to be able to get RW, and I had to meet a certain criteria to get it. Why should someone new that hasn't even contributed anything to the community get a crack at one. It ain't my project, so who am I to say.lol

That kinda makes sense but i figure it shouldnt be like a restricted hard to get print it should be widely available to study and play with haha, I thought the marketplace restrictions were in place to help protect members from getting ripped off?

I'm pretty sure Caps sets standards for the giveaways, everything but the time, even that he is sketchy about. I almost didnt get it. Just helps out with my collection along my way. Also I can get prints from my buddies if I wanted to, but I went with syringes because I wanted to start from the bottom. It's a culture, dont be so anal over it.

What earns them the right then specifically? Post count? Registration? I thought the prints I took, from the fruit I grew, from the print I received, were mine to do with as I wished? My mistake... I'll need everyone to promptly send them back, with return postage paid until you earn rights to them, and I can send them back out...
Are you still without? I'll part with a special one just for you if this is what it's about?
I check everyone out before sending prints, and have been a few I refused to send based on my own better judgement: which is how I intend to do trades/giveaways, whether the person has marketplace access, trade ratings or not... but if I'm breaking the rules by accepting full responsibility and providing a route to faster access, I'll close the journal and post any future giveaways in the appropriate location... I've posted several times that if any established, contributing member is still without, to get with me...
I guess just wanting to grow mushrooms and going through the giveaway process accordingly was enough when added to my consideration based on observation of, or assurance otherwise, of contribution/evidence of such... JUST got a message "could I participate in another giveaway? My friend over here wants one too "... and now this?

That's what I said... or split theirs! Play it right, there's more spores than you need for a lifetime... I used the print i recieved twice, and gave 30 swabs away from it... still well over half of the print left... there's no reason someone who recieved even a light print couldn't swab out 20+ and still have back up to put up for "just in case " situations
