I really don't care... I just like playing... lower density, lower nutes, similar growth patterns... really not that complex... as I lowered density, I had to lower nutes to maintain rhizomorphic growth patterns... exact percentages I'm not certain on, as I've not kept a log specifically; really wasn't that important
Same culture plate to plate yes... tomentose, rhizomorphic...ill fruit it...just playing around

20 flakes 10 light corn syrup 15 agar 1000 h20 * everything in grams. Some cultures grow rhizo. Some don't. Sometimes I'll use 15g of flakes. But it really don't seem to make any difference. I'm just curious. I like the way rhizo growth looks too. But Tom growth is fine too.
rhizomorphic mycelium doesn't hide bacteria and mold half as well as tomebtose myc does

I confess I don't read instructions, and use the lids more than once.

I also am a monster, and like the stickyness created by the rubber underside on the glass rim.

Haha, I agree, slow down, but it won't be the last time you do something like that while doing myco. I have poked, stabbed, burnt and cut myself so many times its ridiculous.

Well I have a confession, I had two trays spawned with BRF cakes to coir, verm, and cow manure compost mix that ended up getting thrown out due to the treaded trichoderma, I used i think its called franks jar pasteurization for the manure so not sure if it was my spawn or techinique never even finished colonizing the myc started to pop through and i checked them today and bam mold all over the top. Atleast it wasnt a new variety I was working with so the loss isnt to bad

I use half a brick of coir to how ever many lbs of hpoo verm and gypsum with a little worm castings .. but I mix in a concrete mixer so it's usually like 2 50lb dog food bag full of hpoo with 12 bricks or more and 10 qts verm Haha..
But using hpoo with cubes with get you cubes

Haha just fucking with ya .. I dont think the sub matters theres tons and tons and tons of arguments over coir and hpoo ... but really it's just what you like and what is easiest for you to prep hpoo takes longer due to having to properly pasteurize... I have made a steamer box that heats up to 155 and each steamer I can get 16 bags(tubs) worth it takes a whole day to cook all that shit ... where coir takes a few hours

A canvas bag and a bat works great for pounding poo, old pillow cases work too.
