I confess I still catch myself forgetting to sniff the jars.

I dreamt last night that I was watching a live art performance where these dudes called gluc club were wheeling out upright, cased beds about 6’x4’ in size and then all of the sudden they started erupting with what I thought were shiitake but then realized they were growing way too fast and large...turned out they were calling them glucosamines.  They would then scoop up all the sub and casing and wheel it over to the side and rebuild the beds with new wood chips added.  Meanwhile, the huge mushrooms were taken to the other side of the room(this took place in my daughter’s school gym where we were watching from the stage), and were pulverized by one of the group in a giant tub with one of those huge wooden paddles that you find in Mexican cooking.  The product was then spun into a thin, cellophane-like material kind of like clear nori that they fed to us through a crack in a door off to the side in order to protect their proprietary method of making the stuff.  I also have normal mush dreams like finding tons of giant morels or amanita muscaria.

I love it :congrats: I don’t remember my dreams

I have legit boring mycology things happen in my dreams. Like, I'll be ready to go somewhere in a dream then like "gimme one min gotta check on my mushrooms" then I do... They're fine... I'm like "ok let's go!"

So mundane.

You have to look for pp5 on the lids for those deli containers....most of them are pp1.. If you're buying online ask seller if the lids are made of polypropylene.. Finding clear lids made of polypropylene was a bitch.. The ones I found were opaque

I take it back they are LLDPE Plastic so maybe thats the problem. Seems strange they dont make the lids from the same plastic as the container but i asked my sales rep to look for pp5 lids. I told him the lids I have melt in the c-vap i need the highest temp lids they make. If they sell them he will get them for me.

I forget what it was like going a a day with out a pair of gloves on. Im just too sloppy I guess, I am in the process of getting a controlled schedule for grows and stand by myco work. Got the place organized and kicking at good rythem now:)

That's what was thinking... they're notoriously difficult to cultivate on purpose: even outdoors... that's why they're an "in season/foraged" item, and rather expensive

@sunnydayze no joke, those kids are pretty adorable. the wonder. "can we pick this one now?"

good luck to everyone taking a shot at morelcult.

but i confess i'm on my tenth pc cycle trying to refine the process of no-pour-plastic-petris. if people might observe a moment of finger crossing, i'd really appreciate it.
