Def worth a shot. I can get a few here and there for free np or... I can just have them order me a case. Cost is 35$ and you get 240 of them. Any reason you dont put filters on them? I have one pice metal lids for my jars but still do poly cause i don't trust the quarter turn. I trust cracking a plastic lid even less. Like i said for 35 bucks its worth a shot even I end up using them as Tupperware. Got a fresh bag of oats im willing to gamble with. Might try a few lid mods and a few unmoded and see what i like.

I'm pretty sure you'll have no problems, Leftfield420. Pouring gets easy quick and petri dishes are much more interesting, and easy to transfer in and out of.

I love agar, just bought my first case of petri-dishes after years of buying sleeves-of-10.

Thanks LF420. I have the system figured out. She'll get really excited at first them start to calm down after talking through some concerns. Full disclosure works out well. Think I've reached my peak of shit I can pull in the house though.

Thats a good question if you're referring to the soup when you're done with pulls. It's nasty shit, I haven't gotten that far yet.

Waste disposal is actually pretty easy, you can neutralize the basic solution with vinegar and pour it down the drain actually (NOT THE NAPHTHA) and you can continually reuse the naptha after the freeze precipitation
