Well my highest dose has only been 2.5 Grams dry of some cubes (I know i know thats not a high dose) but for whatever reason mushrooms just kick my ass and floor me Everytime, although my setting was terrible for that trip

I'm referring to anything<3.5g dry cubensis a lower dose... 7+ gets easier, and 14-21g is my sweet spot for deep work
I still get anxiety with the higher doses, but not for nearly a duration as with <5g ... I can trip on 2g, but it's a rough ride and takes serious intent... with a 14g tea, takes no effort, just breathe deep until the wave settles

Ive heard alot of people say higher doses are easier to handle, I just get really scared before hand, all though recently I keep thinking about terrance McKenna talking about not diddling with low doses and just diving in

It's bc (IMO, this is ALL subjective based on my experience/individual chemistry with psychedelics) it's a misleading endeavor... I call it surface tripping (not a condescension)... the higher doses reach a comfort zone much faster, and takes you much deeper into the abyss/hyperspace, visuals become all encompassing hallucinations, and it gets difficult at times, but I never regret it, and always gain something... in fact, one could argue that the intense/ difficult trips are also the most rewarding and informative...

I definitely think the difficult trips are the more worthwhile ones, I think I'm more of a surface tripper, although I do wanna do those week long mescaline trips where they spend a day spreading out their dose then like 5-6 days tripping sack out in the desert

Make yourself a 10g tea lol: will change you
(That's not in any way pressure to actually do so: comfort, increments if you need)

The guys I work with like to go out and drink/party on friday night. Water boiling for coir prep, measuring oats into a pan for hydration, and PCing some agar is what I consider a nice Friday night. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Haha my god that would be an OBE for me for sure, or atleast the equivalent of a dmt blast off haha unless you mean fresh weight but I think you mean dry

It’s not just the amount, set n setting is big but potency is even bigger. I certainly wouldn’t want to take 10 grams of ps zapotecorum. 1.5 grams was pretty strong as it was. Hell I wouldn’t take more than 4 grams of APE either.
In fact one of my more amazing recent trips was 0.75 grams APE with 0.75 grams zaps. That shit was level 3.8 for sure.

Bout to A2G some RW F9 MS plates and a PE6 clone from cold storage since june... smoke my after dinner cigarette, mix up and start agar, then drop zone! Fuck some public intoxication biz
I think it'd be an OBE for most of us (thought that was the point? Lol) not sure it'd equate to a full on blast off though

Haha eventually id like to get into the heroic doses but I definitely would need to up my comfort zone for awhile before hand in small increments, perhaps in the summer when i can lay out in the sun and just photosynthesize for the day.
You know ive actually never had an OBE the highest ive gotten is where I lose almost all sense of where I end and where everything else begins it was cool but I was kinda in and out of it which made it weird, that was by far my best trip, I met my spirit animal that day

Hahaha that would be funny, I'm pretty sure mine is a raven because I saw literally thousands of ravens flying and nobody else did, my friends is a deer, and the other friends is a lion, we all saw different animals that nobody else saw

Pshshsh... I'd rock a cockroach, I'm honored to have a spirit anything! Lol, always thought I was just part of the programming and not in possession of a soul... now I'm finding there's only one soul, observed from countless perspectives
I've seen bats to dude! Pretty sure they were really there, went away when I was distracted from them, and then returned with my summons upon realizing they were no longer feeding in the insects crowding the pole light in my back yard... fucking awesome watching the swoop in, a couple were fairly large
