Yeah that thing is crazy. It sweats profusely to the point where I can flip the tub upside down and get it to drip off. I've never seen this before myself.

I confess I dumped 15 jars of fully colonized oats because I don't need any more of those types of mushrooms.
I've got them in a garbage sack. There are 3 or 4 kinds in there. I may go bury them in my friends yard. Or I guess I could refrigerate till spring and then bury them.. Would that work?

I confess I got my first set of stalled jars (think its just overly wet) no metabolites or contamination present so just gonna cut out the uncolonized bits and crumble the rest to bulk i think

Just moving on from B+, GT, Cambo, & TXPE6 to RW, APE, AA+, and Redspore for now. I've got the basics down and can restart from spores at any time. I just want to see something more exotic now.

Yessir, just curious how others rate different varieties. I've never grown the B+, too many "low potency" reports for me to give er a whirl. Never ran the GT or PE6, I have a syringe of GT and a print en route of the pe6. Cambos always did me right in the past. I have some RW and PRF going myself..I understand wanting to see something more exotic, I feel the same and I just got back into it.
I confess..I'm getting more and more excited about spring prep for the woodloving varieties

This is something I need to look into. I don't even know where to start yet. Something about Pans sans KABLAM! hehe All I really know about it is that the wood lovers are more powerful than cubensis.
I'm actually going to be moving soon and will have a lot more yard/garden to work with. I might end up with some cool outdoor projects later this year - spring/summer. I hope so!
And I need to get into some stone/truffle producers as well. So much to do!!
I confess, some times it seems a little overwhelming but It's all so exciting!

I confess last night i was running the pc and for some reason it got to much pressure and blew out the safety valve thing. Well my wife happened to be in the kitchen with me and it scared her quite a bit. I felt real bad till she gave me the green light to get a new one(i got this one at goodwill) so im happy she is ok but also happy it happened. I also confess i love this thread. Must be Catholic school boy in me.

If you ever get a used one again, I would take it down to the local county extension. They test them for free around here.

I confess that I have fallen behind on my spawning..Had a nice little schedule I was going to adhere to to make things flow easier. One delay led to another and now I'm backlogged.
(6) 5qt Spawn bags fully colonized 3 PE 2 Huaulta
(20) qt. jars ready 12 PE 8 Hua
Gonna try and get em all handled before I go to bed tonight.
It wasn't supposed to be like this

If you spawn all that at once you might have to harvest it all at once - or close. Might be creating another challenge on the other end of things. I try to stagger mine out a bit cause harvesting multiple tubs in a day is actual work. I spent 3 hours on a tub the other day and I had help picking/pulling while I was cleaning them up. Also had help loading the dehydrators but it still took 3 hours..
I confess I'm probably lacking some harvest tek

That'd be convenient, as I've several boxes in the process of exploding... my front runner showed a spot of trich: I just covered a 2" diameter around it with dry vermeculite ... I'll get something
